"Nicest hotel in Auburn, hands down. Clean modern room. Decent meal at The Refinery. Very friendly staff, every employee we encountered gave us their full attention. Pool was “off”.. hard to describe but we love to swim and we both felt the smell was off and didn't feel well after taking a short dip."

It looks to be outside of Skaneateles and technically that is true, but it is 5 minute drive next to the lake with beautiful homes, etc. The building itself is beautiful, old but with a lovely aesthetic. It feels homey, but one that an interior designer designed. From board games to an ice machine at the ready while in front of the fire…it was delightful. "34 State is simply a gorgeous 18th century (?) home furnished and decorated with impeccable period style! Tasteful and elegant guest suites, great linens, wonderful help-yourself amenities in a thoughtfully stocked pantry. All of this steps away from the storybook lakefront village of Skaneateles. Just a delight for a weary traveler!"

"I liked the place we were staying in but definitely bring your own blanket cause they only give you one. The bed was huge and and comfy and the room felt like a cabin which was cool and it was a pretty big room. The only thing was the bathroom was a little dirty when we got there but just the shower. I would stay here again! "

"What a marvelous snowy getaway at 2W Lake B&B! Host Clark was attentive, responsive, and provided a wealth of knowledge about the area. We especially enjoyed relaxing conversations with him after he served sumptuous morning meals. The room was immaculate, well-appointed, and quite cozy with a stunning lake view. Highly recommend!!"

"We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The space is a renovated antique barn with absolutely beautiful and rustic interior decoration. The bed was so comfy, we cooked a few meals in the apt as well, and enjoyed a lovely morning walk around the pond into the neighboring field/park they’ve cleared. Host was extremely responsive and easy to contact. We had a very lovely time!"
