Kid & Family Friendly Resorts in Saint Martin

"The property was within extremely close walking distance to many restaurants and a few grocery/convenient stores. I wish there were some stores for clothing and souvenirs but we ended getting that at the airport on our way back. The hotel is right on the beach, which is the best beach on the island! The beach in front of La Playa is also one of the less crowded areas. We walked most of the orient beach and other areas are crowed and/or full of seaweed. The staff here are all very friendly and helpful. We took a taxi to the Dutch side a couple of times which was $40 (kinda pricey in my opinion!) the hotel called for us each time. Takes about 30 mins when there is no traffic, ask the front desk for the best times. I would recommend La Playa to everyone!!! Very quiet and beautiful!! "

"Aura is the place to be! It was stunning. It's basically brand new. We stayed in the studio and it was plenty of room. The room opened up right to the pool deck. The property is impeccably clean. I rarely saw anyone in the pool, it was quiet and private. We especially appreciated the complimentary rental car that came with our stay. The car was delivered right to our door, we signed a paper and it was all set. The units are impeccable. Everything you need. We went to the Super U which was less then 10 minutes away to get fresh fruit, french cheeses and baguette for breakfast. There is also a little french bakery at the bottom of the mountain which we picked up fresh Quish and croissants a few mornings. Grand Case and Orient are only a 10 minute drive. Anse Marcel beach was a 2 minute car drive down the hill and was stunning. The star of this place is Yann. Your own personal concierge. He can get you a reservation anywhere and knows everyone on the island. Chairs at Pinel Island, dinner reservations, whatever you need! I highly recommend. This is a high end, high class place away from all the loud tourist on the Dutch side. "

"My stay was perfect! If you want a quiet place to relax with water view, this is your place. It is very clean and convenient to a few restaurants and a lovely French cafe that doubled as a convenient store all in just a 3 minute walk. The property manager Claude was extremely helpful, hard worker, great communicator from the start before i even arrived and eager to make my stay easy. As a former hotel manager,I tend to be very observant and selective. I could not find a single issue and loved every minute of my stay. My only complaint is that my stay wasn’t long enough. I will return! A true hidden gem❣️"
