"This would have been a great stay but the management did not say that there was a lot of construction being done on the hotel. My wife and I walked to our room to find a bunch of workers in most of the rooms. This was very unsettling because they were in every room but ours and it was a mess. Once we entered our room it didn’t get any better, it was not clean at all and the shower did not drain. The microwave was there but not close to a plug. "The property was good. After check in the TV would not work. The desk clerk came to the room and after a couple phone calls to Direct TV was able to reset the connection. That night the Heat/AC unit did not work well. Giving only minor heat at best. At check out the clerk said the temp on those only works at 85 degrees and higher? Okay?"

"Great day trip to fish although the fish weren’t biting. We celebrated my dad’s 80th birthday with a small group. It was perfect place for storing and serving food. Had the feel of a full size home. Lots of space outside. The deck was a lovely space to sit and socialize, with good shade."

"A friend and I did a girls weekend and went to the Christmas in the Country event in St Francisville. It was a short drive to downtown with nice restaurants, Christmas tree lighting, fireworks, Christmas music, and cute shops with a cozy country feel. We love it! "

"We had a great stay at this camp. The hosts are great, and the property is nothing less then what is in the description. Me and my husband had a great few days here just relaxing and doing some fishing. If you bring a boat I would highly recommend going launch the boat before you pull up at the property, because the driveway is extremely rough and steep. "The rooms are AMAZING! Beds are comfy, no carpet in rooms & even have ceiling fans! The food at the restaurant was pretty good but limited (drink options didn’t match the menu). I will probably just order delivery for breakfast next time as it was a normal hotel breakfast but cost $. Also was booked for a private event Saturday night so we couldn’t use the restaurant/bar. Great experience overall!"

"We stopped at the Cook hotel and conference center on our road trip from Houston to New Orleans. The hotel is well located, in a really nice and quiet neighbourhood, in fact on LSU campus. The hotel is very clean, the team is friendly, the breakfast is nice. Overall our stay was perfect! Thanks "
