"Tucked away at the end of the very busy West Bay beach, the Caribe Tesoro was a nice, smaller hotel with fantastic staff. A beautiful pool, and lovely morning views for breakfast overlooking the clear waters. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, including the pier over the waterfront but this was not too disruptive. Given how far the town is from other cities, and the fact that we arrived in the evening, this presented a safety issue as we were not able to find another hotel and had to travel after dark to seek out other options out of town.
