"We stayed here for a week during the first week of July and had a wonderful time in this beautiful secluded chatel set in the mountains above Morzine. This was our 4th trip to the area in summertime but our first time that we hadn't stayed in an apartment. We decided to push the boat out a little this time and it was well worth it. "This is undoubtedly the best ski in ski out location available, with an apres ski bar at the doorstep. The apartment has modern bathroom facilities and very adequate sleeping arrangements, although it would be a little cramped with 5. It is pretty well equipped, with the bonus of a dishwasher. The owner was clear and very timely with communications. Access was straightforward too. If there had been a shop close by, that would have been an added bonus. "For 250 euros a night this isn't good value for money, the apartments are run down with old and sometimes broken furniture. On the plus side they are spacious, but you are expected to make your own beds and strip them all after your stay as well as clean the apartment and this wasn't clear in the booking. For 250 euros a night, I would have expected a higher standard of accommodation and service. There is also no reception staff available on Sundays which makes check out challenging with bedding...

"5 of us stayed here for a boys ski trip. It is a lovely apartment. It is brighter than it looks in the photos, and fairly spacious given the location. You can ski down to the village, and it's only a short walk back at the end of the day. The room specs are slightly confusing - but there are 3 separate bedrooms, plus a foldaway and a sofa bed in the shared space. It was plenty of room for us. Finally, Frederic did everything we needed as a host - thank you!"

"We had a lovely stay at Claire & Tony’s apartment. They were very accommodating to our needs of an early checkin and late checkout. It was in a good location in the centre of the village, with easy access to all amenities. The bed linen and towels were excellent quality. We would recommend the apartment and would stay here again. Many thanks for a pleasurable stay."

Loved my stay at the Hotel l’Igloo

"Genuinely friendly and helpful welcome on arrival. Good sized room for solo traveller. Free lockers for my skis and boot warmers in the basement. Lovely laid out breakfast with plenty of selection for everyone. Decent coffee and juice machine. Fantastic location as this hotel is located only a two minute walk, in ski boots as well, between the two main ski lifts, Plenny lift and Super Morzine lift. Short walk to the local super market and also short walk to Morzine centre where a lot of the bars and restaurants are located. Room was cleaned and bed made up daily. Loved my stay here. All staff were lovely and only too happy to talk and help. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again in the future. Only added to my wonderful ski trip for 2025."

Ski chalet near avoriaz Feb-25

"The chalet/lodge is on the road from morzine to avoriaz just after the last hair pin bend, tucked in the loop of the bend.Parking for 2 cars just outside front door.The ski slope is just off the corner of the bend, with the slope leading down to the super morzine lift. But due to the snow conditions, we elected to drive 5 mins up the road towards Avoriaz to the free parking by the Seraussaix farm, under the lift with same name. Short ski down to the Proclou lift got us into avoriaz area. We didn't bother going to morzine, and elected to ski in avoriaz and Swiss resorts all week. Blue skies all week, bit warm in afternoons. But snow held up well. Beatrice hosted us, living below the chalet. Really helpful and proactive. Doesn't speak any English but worked with our group French ability to communicate.She organise our first bread order, greeted is with lovely home baked biscuits and answered all our questions. The chalet is all wood decorated, with original 1800s wooden beams. A couple at head height. Living area seats 6 adults around big tv. Dining area easily fitted 8.Well equipped kitchen. Access to washing machine and dryer, although needed to not over use due to electricity costs. 1 bigger double bed room with en suite. 2 smaller double bedrooms and a small cabine bunk bedroom. Great main bathroom with big shower and 2 sinks. 2 separate toilets.Lobby entrance was ok for shoes and ski boots but not much room for skis. So skis stayed in cars all week.a"
