"I truly enjoyed our stay at the Watergate. I've driven by many times bc the little rock service station on the corner was where my grandfather had his first job. Makes me feel close to him. The staff was great. The rooms were great. My only complaint was that there was no food when we got back from seeing the National symphony at 10:30pm. Everyone was closed including room service. I had to door dash. I would've spent my money on the Watergate food if it would've been available. "

"Paid $53 for 24 hrs of parking only to return from concert to find there was no room in the lot. Staff said an external company did the parking and they couldn't help us. Staff said we could park anywhere we could fit in. Managed to park on a curb. It's ridiculous that more parking passes are given than there are spots to fill and hotel staff can't help even though referred us to the outside company. "

"Everyone was so kind and welcoming! We didn’t expect the amount of organizing the room keeper did even for our two day stay. Whoever tidied our room made it look nice without misplacing anything and respecting privacy. I would also like to commend the breakfast staff. I work in the service industry and this staff not only got along well and were kind to EACH OTHER, but they were SO organized and the entire process looked seamless, even on a busy holiday weekend. "Festive atmosphere for the Christmas and new years holiday period. It was perfect for walking into Georgetown and DuPont circle. We enjoyed the evening receptions and meals at District Tap. Breakfast buffet was ample but overcrowded and chaotic. I suggest they reorganize the crowd flow and add extra cleaning staff during peak times at breakfast. All in all, it was a great value and we were satisfied. "
