"Taj Samundra was a decent experience for us, though the rooms are old-school and you can see wood worn off in some places, the grandeur of the property over shadows everything. The buffet spread was great but service a bit chaotic. We do want to mention a shout out to Joseph at the gym, Bhatia for room service, Ms Dinushah at check-in and Ms Tathsarani at check-out. I do have to mention the rates we booked at were inclusive of all taxes as mentioned by expedia at the time of booking but when...

"Great 3 nights stay here before we left Colombo. Rooms are bit smaller but very clean and comfortable. There is no parking in front so getting in and out of taxis is bit challenging. Staff were very friendly during our stay. Will come again 😊"

"Strict security just before entering the hotel ... And greeted by an elegent atmosphere at the lobby... Check-in process is smooth, staffs were all friendly and speaks good English... Drinks were also served during check-in... Rooms are overall clean ... Except for some stains on the mattress... Covered with the protector so not much of an issue... Breakfast were good and have a wide variety of food... Salads, cold cuts, breads and pastries... Western eggs and bacon, asian, local cuisine.... Egg...
