There are several issues with the property and management: 1) in warm / hot weather the AC is inadequate to cool the entire house; 2) of the six bedrooms only three had working smoke detectors; 3) the landscaping is abysmal, weeds growing everywhere, cracks in the pavement, basically unkept; 4) if the property was rented and the check-out day was the same as our arrival date, we understand declining early check-in, however, why wasn’t the AC turned on?; 5) the response to the AC issue was not sufficient. When we asked for an early check in, we received an immediate response of NO, when we requested that an issue regarding the AC be solved, the response was several hours; 5) the AC is inadequate, it is an obvious and known condition in the house, and it is not properly disclosed.
The landlord agreed to a refund of one night, but, did not waive or reduce any of the significant fees and or taxes. We booked the room for two nights. The refund we received is 29% of the amount we paid.
