"My husband, dogs, and I stayed for a long weekend in Oct 2024 so we could do hiking trips with out a long commute from our home on upper Cape. It was an ideal location to go to Race Point Beach, Nauset Beach, and Chatham. The property was immaculate, pictures shown absolutely represent the charm of the property. Lots of little extras like a bag of dog treats, bottles of water, kcups, etc. They even had towels & blankets for dogs. Bathrobes to use the jacuzzi. We used the jacuzzi out last...

"Nice upper suite. Clean rooms. It was nice that linens were provided. It had a small mini fridge and small microwave stacked on a table. A table to sit at would have been nice. 2 small mugs and 2 plastic wine glasses were supplied as well. I stayed for 6 nights so I just kept rinsing out my mug. 2 separate AC units provided comfortable temperature. Nice quiet area. The deck was nice. It was wet from condensation in the morning and then hot in afternoon with full sun so I didn’t use it. ...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our one-month stay in Brewster. The house is beautifully decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen and Weber gas grill. The host provides timely responses to inquiries and is very accommodating. We especially loved the proximity to the 25-mile Cape Cod Rail Trail for running, walking & biking, and the wild turkeys who wandered through the yard. We would highly recommend this property for your next vacation!"

We need a lot of bedroom and bathroom space to accommodate our group and because we are gathering to prepare full thanksgiving meal we also need a kitchen with space. The many bedroom options and 2 kitchens worked great for us! House was clean and location was beautiful on the pond! We would stay again and found everything to be easy and no issues to report. "

"I booked this listing for a short getaway with my wife. The home was exactly as the listing described. About a 10 minutes walk to the beach and a 20 minutes walk to downtown hyannis. We ended up driving to downtown, plenty of free parking. The beds were softer than we typically prefer but that's subjective . Our host was accommodating and responsive and even allowed an early check in. I would recommend staying here!"

"Girls long weekend - this place was perfect for us. Typical older Cape cottage walking distance to the bay. Big table inside and another big table outside on the shady deck. Easily sat the 7 of us for meals and games. Roomy bedrooms, good beds (although best to bring your own pillow). Nothing fancy, but we found the place comfortable and serviceable. Good internet (no TV but we'd never use it anyway). Plenty of parking. Walking distance to the Landing. Centrally located for beaching and...

"This house was perfect for our stay in Cape Cod with our family of 5 which includes 3 adult children. It is centrally located to everything we wanted to see. Nice and close to 3 beaches with about a 10-15 minute drive. The house itself was clean with a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of pot, pans and utensils. The only thing missing was utensils for the grill but we made do. There was a ring camera on the back deck which I guess is for security. All in all we had a great stay at this home and...

"What a fun time for my whole family! This charming beach cottage is beach themed decorated and so classy. The host was very friendly and got back to us immediately when we had questions. It was so easy and relaxing to have everything in one place (beach is literally steps away). My teenagers had just as much fun as my little kids. Had wine on the balcony of the master bedroom with my wife --with an amazing view of the ocean--this place is a homerun. Cant wait to return!"

"We truly enjoyed our time at the Cape. The house was clean, nicely decorated and well equipped with new kitchen appliances. In a nice neighborhood. Only a few issues. Clothes dryer did not work. Upstairs toilet flushing mechanism was tricky. And downstairs dehumidifier had no instructions and would have overflowed had we not discovered that it drained into a closet. "This is a lovely property near Mashpee. It is very close to the beach and part of a larger resort community. Very convenient to other areas (most of the Cape is within an hour's drive--Ptown slightly longer). Extremely quiet and comfortable. Lovely outdoor seating area. Very cozy. "

"Very easy to find and warm and welcoming, just like the pictures. We cooked some meals and went to several beaches, all beautiful with lovely weather. There was tons of wildlife around the property and time was spent at the pond as well as bird watching on the great deck. We can’t thank you enough Jim for sharing your family place and experiencing a little Cape autumn magic "

"We liked the privacy of this small house near the pond (it may not be the best for swimming, but perfect for kayaking and for the views). Outdoor shower, the kayak, clean comfortable bedding, and Vacasa's responsiveness to our questions were high positives. The interior is rather very outdated, but if you expect a cabin - not a luxurious mansion, you won't be disappointed "

"It wad only 5 days and 4 nught..but even tho the house was cleaned and emptied by 2 we vould not enter because it was too early...and yet we had to be out by 10am on our ladt day..so really only had 3 days at cottage though charged for 5..the shades are not blavk our so youre up at 5am..and onlt the upper part of the beach umbrella was there"

Website listed those as available until off-season when it was going to be renovated."

"It had everything you needed.2 fans in every room. But one air conditioner in the window by the back door would have cooled the whole house down. Nice open floor plan. Was very hot and muggy when we were there. Much needed hand rails on front steps would have been nice. And some cleanup landscaping would have made the outside look much more appealing.
