"I stayed in the Monet room, which was perfect for a single person or couple. I stayed as a single with my small dog. I had plenty of room for my yoga mat and his crate along with his separate dog bed. A small desk space for my laptop and shelves for my books. The added bonuses were the jet bathtub, the nice wood framed bed, bed bench, day bed, tiny balcony with a beautiful cascading garden water feature. And many artistic touches. It was quiet and serene. I would love to stay here again."

"We loved our stay at Villa L'Auberge. Situated just down the hill from the main hotel, the Villas are spacious, newly updated and have nice outdoor patios. We got a great value for our travel dollar here. The unit fit our family of 3 comfortably for 4 nights and was a solid choice for a centrally located basecamp. We spent time at the Zoo, Torrey Pines, and also ventured up to Oceanside and Encinitas. Nothing was more than 20-30 minutes away. The front desk greeted us with sparkling wine upon check in. The pool deck is cozy; we enjoyed the fire pits with some tea and coffee while our daughter had fun in the pool & hot tub. Mornings gave a perfect opportunity to watch surfers or walk down to the park. There are several restaurants, bars, and bakeries within walking distance. Del Mar has charm to spare, that's for sure! Next time I'll likely request a second floor room. We could hear a lot of footsteps at night. We especially appreciated the newly renovated rooms. The bathroom was large and featured new tile & a new shower. Even the pull out couch was comfy. We'll be back for sure next time we are in the San Diego area. Love staying in Del Mar!"

"A unique and most quaint little Inn. Only four rooms nestled in a courtyard behind the equally quaint Peruvian Restaurant. Small but cozy. Breakfast was provided by the restuarant, the most delicious choices of eggs or empanadas. Friendly and welcoming owners. Highly recommend. "
