Lake Huron Vacation Getaway

This home has a gorgeous view of Lake Huron. It is the 2nd house in from the lake. Picture yourself sitting in a newly furnished and beautiful sunroom looking out at spectacular Lake Huron. The home is situated in a private community with shared 800 feet of sandy beachfront. The home has been remodeled with amenities that include 3 nicely decorated bedrooms and a full bath with a tub/shower combination. There is an entry room with an arcade game with 60 classics including Donkey Kong, Frogger, Pac Man and many more.
****Additional guests exceeding 5 are subject to an additional charge and must be approved by VRBO owner.

This home has brand new carpeting, washer and dryer with a stocked kitchen. We have an outdoor patio table and chairs, gas grill and fire pit in the backyard. The home also has internet.

The community is a really nice area to walk, bike and listen to the rolling waves of Lake Huron. The location of this home is within walking distance of a local store. Within a few miles, there is a park nearby (Forester Park) that serves ice cream and has a playground for the children to enjoy. Heading towards Port Sanilac (10-15 minute drive), there are some local gem restaurants nearby Forester Bar, Blue Water Tavern and on the nicer side Stone Lodge. In downtown Port Sanilac, there is a grocery store, boat marina, antique store and souvenir shops. Come enjoy this beautiful vacation getaway!!!!! You won’t be disappointed!

The house was excellent! The location to the beach access was wonderful! It is a great neighborhood and near Port Sanilac. The house is spacious and clean. We would definitely recommend this house for a quiet lake vacation!

Absolutely fantastic home away from home! Clean, quiet, and fully stocked with anything you and your family might need! We enjoyed long walks on the beach with our dogs, and sitting on the sun porch enjoying the lake views.

AMAZING!!!??
My fiance, myself and fur babies had a wonderful, relaxing time. The house and property is beautiful and so welcoming and relaxing. The neighbors we met were very friendly and welcoming. The beach was beautiful and the water was nice, had a nice sandy bottom, not mucky or full of seaweed. Port Sanilac is a nice quaint little town. Linda was over and beyond accommodating,. responded quickly and was very flexible with us. We will for sure be returning and have referred a few friends to this beautiful getaway. It was everything I wanted, needed and more!

Wonderful Property
This location and rental was so perfect for my family. We had 5 adults and two children and had plenty of space. It is so close to the lake! The house was very clean and well maintained. If it had another 1/2 bathroom it would be ideal. We will rent again for sure!

Absolute amazing property and host. The place is right on the lake, with everything you need. It was also very clean and quiet with some nice towns nearby. Highly recommend for any family interested in this spacious cottage with a great layout that has a view of the lake right outside the living room window. The host was really nice and provides you with everything you need upon arrival and is fast to respond to any additional requests you may have.

Great house. Beautiful beach. Generous hostess.
Three old lady friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely and closer to the beach than the pictures suggest. Everything you could want was provided down to paper products. The beach was ahhhmazing. Lots of cool rocks, a tiny bit of beach glass and very few people. Interesting places nearby to go if we were so inclined. We were mostly content to stay on the beach. Definitely recommend and plan to return! Thanks Linda!

Had a wonderful trip!
Linda is the hostess with the mostest! She is super friendly and accommodating. House is comfy with plenty of room and just steps from the beach. We had so much fun playing the arcade games. The beach is simply PERFECT! The water is beautiful and clear. Beach kept us entertained. We kayaked, skipped rocks, collected rocks, played frisbee, had a campfire. If you are looking for a beach spot this is it!

Cute cottage on Lake Huron.
This is a cute cottage very close to Lake Huron. This is a nice, comfortable space for a family getaway with an open living area, very clean. The house is in a small lakeside community, it was very quiet while we were there. The area is somewhat remote so we had no cell service at all while we were there (the WiFi didn't work for us but the owner was notified). We were not at the house much during the day since we were in the area visiting family, but the kitchen seemed to be well-stocked if you wanted to bring food and cook. We ended up eating out, not a lot in this area but there are some good restaurants within a 25 minute drive.

3 Amigos Mini Beach Vacay
A few years ago I started taking my Mom (85) & my Aunt (84) on vacations to various destinations. One year we all got ponchos to wear & the moniker “the 3 Amigos” was born & stuck. The 3 Amigos thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Everything was perfect! The house is impeccable - clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated. The location is fabulous — we thought we’d prefer to be right on the beach, but this was just as good! We could see the water & hear the waves from the house! Went to the light house in Beach Harbor, dinner at Foresters Inn & Williams Inn, and ice cream at Port Sanilac Marina & Forester’s Park. The beach was AWESOME … spent a lot of time down there walking the beach & collecting rocks! Linda is a great communicator — DON’T HESITATE — book this listing, you will love it!

Adorable Cottage
This cottage was perfect; immaculately clean, modern decor, stocked with EVERYTHING one needs. Just bring your personal items, clothing and food for a relaxing week by the water. The vintage arcade machine was super fun and the use of the kayaks was such a thoughtful touch. Views from the cottage were breathtaking and the sandy (with some beautiful rocks to take as souvenirs) is just steps away. The owners live close by and were very attentive and more than accommodating. The cottage is in a private residential area, so you feel safe. There is a general store at the entrance, for incidentals and there’s a nice little grocery store about 5 mins away. There is lots to do in the little town: souvenir shops, ice cream shop, restaurants, lighthouse and marina to admire all of the gorgeous boats, and a beach with a break-wall, extended quite a distance into Lake Huron, for your walking pleasure alongside Port Sanilac Marina, boat rental in Lexington (a short drive away) and Port Austen approximately 40 mins north, offering tons of shops, restaurants and horseback riding, if you like. This cottage is a must stay 😁

Great spot on the lake
We had a wonderful stay at this nicely appointed house right on Lake Huron. Steps away from the beach. Our daughters spent the weekend playing in the water and collecting rocks. Located in a friendly community and close to Port Sanilac and Lexington. The house is really comfortable. Beautiful views of the lake.

Great little get away spot
The view of Lake Huron was beautiful from the house..Even though the weather wasn't great we spent a lot of time walking the beach finding awesome rocks..the kids enjoyed watching the big freighters go by from the living room window and definitely loved the video game once they figured the "old games" out lol.. definitely would come back during the summer months ❤️

Great location, beautiful view!
Home was easy to find and was very clean. Location was perfect! Beautiful views of the lake from the front patio and the beach was gorgeous. Great spot for rock hunting but also plenty of sandy beach too. Would love to come back sometime for a longer stay!
