I didn’t mind the 45 min drive to Acadia and back, as it showcases the diversity of Northern Maine (farms, lobsters/sea, forests). "

"This is a great cabin located in a nice private setting, with the ocean literally feet from the door. We enjoyed our stay. It was so relaxing and we got to see the full Hunter Moon rising right over the ocean. The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen had everything you could need. We enjoyed day trips to Bar Harbor/Acadia, Schoodic Peninsula, Lubec and Campobello Island. I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. "

"The house is gorgeous! Lots of room! Great views! We used the spotting scope continuously!! It is a little isolated so you have to drive a lot for groceries, firewood, restaurants. We loved the beach and the fire pit!! "

"I would give this property 100 stars if I could! Best VRBO I have ever stayed. It is immaculate, private, well appointed with floor to ceiling windows looking over the tidal basin. The tidal water changes are a show in themselves and the wildlife adds to its splendor. The gas fireplace warmed the rooms when the air cooled in the evening. Full kitchen to eat-in and use. A perfect size home for a couple or two. Bar Harbor and Acadia NP are a short drive, and Hancock has many hiking options. But the best part was sitting by the water's edge in the Adirondack chairs and watching the tide roll in, pause for a bit and roll out. Can't beat it. Tracey was fantastic - start to finish. I wish we could have stayed longer. We'll be back! Thanks Tracey! :)"
