"The place was very nice. There were a few issues that I spoke to the owner about. The mattresses in the two bunk bed rooms were heavy stained. The owner said that the front bunk room was stained due to a leaky AC problem which was fix. Still looks bad if that is the cause. The back bunk room was terribly stained. Make sure you bring extra toilet paper because you will only get one roll per bathroom. Also, there was no soap for the kitchen as well as no trash bags. A note on the refrigerator said...

"The house was as described and Dauphin Island is unadorned and basic. Bring what you need and plan to just relax. No flashing lights but the people are very nice. No night life but a casual and restful place to spend a few days. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable."

"The property is well equipped and maintained. I received my check in credentials prior to arrival and had no problems. There was a Gale force storm that lasted approximately 12 hours and did some minor damage to the house. It was extremely easy to contact the property manager to alert them to the damage."

"Very clean and affordable with a variety of beds. House had everything needed. Beautiful outdoor area. Lovely plants in yard. The back deck was large, but back yard was a bit over grown. A lot of potential with the back yard area. Only one tv for the entire house, but we didn’t watch much tv. Water hoses, outdoor shower and sink available that helped wash sand off. Definitely worth the price. "

"We really enjoyed staying here in the fall. The house is in a terrific location and the gulf view is spectacular. We had 3 in our party but there was plenty of room for a large family. "House was well appointed, but there was construction next door that blocked our view as well as was dangerous with the children being around the moving machinery, this was not pictured when we rented the property. A/C went out the first night but our agent was very quick to send out a repair as well as offered to relocate us. We did not get to enjoy the house, but may try again at a later time if the construction is not an issue. "
