"This was a perfect location for our stay. The bedroom layout is great for two couples, or two singles. The bedrooms are at separate ends of house and each has its own full bath. The beds were very comfy! The kitchen is well equipped, but we don't really like to cook on vacay, so opted for late lunch out somewhere every day, with light breakfast and snacks for dinner. There is a nice grill on back deck. The view from front deck is beautiful! We pulled the chaise lounges up from the middle deck and enjoyed sitting outside and watching the incredibly blue ocean. The gorgeous pink sand beach is just down some steps and we only saw someone else on beach once! It was very windy while we were there, so most of our beach-sitting time was spent on the west side of island (sooo many beautiful beaches to choose from!). We really appreciated having fold-up beach chairs and ice chests available to take in car or down to beach with us. Plenty of beach towels available for use. When the sky is clear, the stars are amazing...super bright and they seem so close! We don't get that living in the city. Internet was great. Heard lots of stories about it going down a lot on the island, but we only lost it once for a short time. Governors Harbor area was perfect location for us...very central for exploring north/south. Well-stocked grocery store in town. Barb was great. She responded quickly and answered any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again."

"Bungalow was large and comfortable, beach was amazing. There is a nice bar and the greatest bartender."

"This off grid place was amazing, the ability to have a fire on the beach in the evening was spectacular. The photos matched the property as did the description. Given that it was cooler due to winter time having hot water would have made it perfect but the tenants were very clear that it wasn’t available. Honestly the people in the neighboring town were not very friendly and that was disappointing. The only significant recommendation we have for the place is to clean up the trash for appearance and the broken glass in the beach area. "

"The pictures don’t do this beautiful house justice. Incredible 180 degree Atlantic view from the spacious main room and deck. House has a great floorplan with a large shared living/kitchen/dining space and two bedrooms on either end. Place was spotless, and all the screens worked for bug protection - a rarity on Eleuthera. Good snorkeling on the reef out front and to the left of the house. Would absolutely stay here again. "

"Great location! Only steps to the beach. Stars are amazing. Sound of waves can be heard from the deck. Sunrise from the front deck each morning was wonderful. Sunset off the side deck is also great! Kitchen is well stocked for coooking and nice that staples were left behind from past guests, inlcuding extra drinking water. Be sure to go to the Island Farm store and the Market in Rock Sound was impressively stocked, especially for us as vegetarians who coooked most of our meals at Tradewinds. Information provided by host on nearby beaches, stores and restaurants was very helpful in our planning and considering what to do each day. Host was also very responsive with suggestions and help of any kind. December was a little too cold for us to use the pool but it was cleaned everyday in case we wanted to take a plunge. The secluded beaches, the adventurous roads, the wonderful shops and stores, the very helpful residents and shop owners, and Island Farm are the reasons we will be returing as soon as we can! "

"If you have the opportunity to stay at Blue Palms, take it! The house is set up perfectly and everything has been considered ... from beach chairs/towels to snorkel masks, guide books and coolers. Kitchen is fully stocked to cook at home with great heavy duty pans and blender for frozen drinks. Bedrooms and bathrooms terrific - all thoughtfully arranged with storage for clothes. Great artwork throughout house! Layout is well thought out with central big room inside and loads of hang out spaces outside. Front porch if it's windy, back veranda with table and lots of seating, pool area with table and many lounge chairs, cabana with chairs, hammock ... really, we were impressed! We used one of the kayaks to go snorkeling off the beach - saw loads of fish. This property is a gem! Host is very responsive with communication. Honestly, there's no need to look further. We hope to be back!"

"Property was a perfect home base for our week in Eleuthera! Spacious for our family of 4 and felt very private. Central location close to GH and convenient to restaurants, beaches and retail. Multiple power outages during our week and appreciated the generator for backup. Would consider again if our travels bring us back to the area!"
