It's in the heart of Deep Creek Lake, offering recreational activities year round. Wisp Ski Resort is 3 miles and the lake is a short stroll away. Stay at our cozy hideaway under the stars. In winter you'll find a snow filled wonderland as you relax by the crackling fire. Spring, summer or fall take a swim, explore nature or go boating. Go to the nearby cafe or stay and have cappuccino on the deck. Take a day trip to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. Our cabin is an accommodating, truly hip, cozy getaway for families and singles. It's the place for a wonderful healthy break at an affordable price. We will continue to make changes to the property in keeping with a greener world. We would appreciate your insights in creating a 'greener' cabin as well. Here's to a healthy body, mind, planet and lifestyle. We look forward to sharing our cabin retreat with you. Eco Friendly Living: It's our goal to have the cabin completely renewable(green)and self sufficient, as soon as technology and financing allows. Currently we have used eco-paints that do not emit harmful gases. We've furnished the cabin using Craig's list which means most everything is recycled at least one generation. We use renewable products and recycle whenever possible. Water is renewably drawn from our well and heat is enhanced by the fireplace. She is a great host and the cabin is so full of character, with tons of games, books and movies available for use. The kitchen was well stocked, the cabin was clean and comfortable. Dale sent so much helpful information to make our stay was easy . We went for a winter skiing and tubing adventure and it snowed all weekend. Perfect! It’s absolutely beautiful and the natural rocks add such an appeal that pictures don’t do it justice. Dale, our host, was awesome!! She sent us pages of recommendations and need to know stuff that truly helped make our weekend even better!! We will definitely be back to this cabin and plan to stay at least another day. Cabin is warm and cozy. Just off the main road, yet you feel buried in the woods....minutes from everything. Communications were above and beyond, directions on what is where in the house, suggestions of places to go, eat, do, etc........Great experience, great weekend. Me and a couple friends decided to have a girls trip in deep creek. this place was the perfect place! it was beautiful, private, and clean. The AC and temp in the place was great, no issues with electricity, water heaters, or hot tub. Everything was so clean and nice! Owners are extremely responsive and kind, sent so many good recommendations, and always answered every question! This place was perfect. We had a group of 5, and i feel that’s the perfect amount. we never used to sofa bed, so I think 8 people is the perfect amount if you use all the beds! This place was so perfect! ##### Aria C. I can’t say enough good things about this cabin and the wonderful owners!! The owners were AMAZING to work with from responding so quickly to emails to sending so many recommendations/tips for our trip. The cabin itself was perfect! Clean and so cozy! The place was stocked with spices one may forget to pack, marshmallows for the fire, dishes, cookware, the works. The outdoor space is magical with the string lights and the quietness while relaxing in the hot tub. It was just overall a great experience and we will definitely go back soon.
