"We traveled to Johnson City from Savannah Georgia to celebrate Christmas. The home was exactly as described and was decorated for the holidays which was a nice touch. I was easily able to entertain a family of five for the holidays. We would definitely stay again. Cheers!"

"This is a pretty cabin in a very rural setting near the Watauga river. It has a lot of windows and we enjoyed watching the cows across the street, and we also saw baby lambs. The long mountain views are awesome - we saw them covered in snow!The inside of the cabin is nice and new; although minimally decorated. The beds were very comfortable; everyone enjoyed them.One interesting aspect of the cabin was the flies. It was strange seeing so many of them in the winter with temps in the teens. I...

"Visiting on laws for Thanksgiving and usually we stay in a hotel but since they are elderly and no longer up for cooking, I decided to rent a home so they could come over to eat. This house was perfect…it was 5 mins from their house. My husband l, daughter, and I had everything we needed and check in was easy. I verified with the owner that it was ok for the family to come over for the meal and they said it was ok. House had more than I expected-pots, pans, etc and it was just what I needed. Got...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The Cozy Farmhouse Decor was exactly what we were expecting from the description of the listing. It was so convenient to the areas we wanted to visit during our time in Johnson City. There is a rail line nearby so would suggest earplugs to ensure a good night sleep. Trains did not run very often. "

"The house was perfect for our stay, with two separate living spaces (upstairs and down), spacious kitchen and open floor plan and the views! Sunrises over the lake and an awesome screened porch. We will stay here again! The hosts were kind to decorate with a tree and other Christmas decor. "

Father in law wanted to visit some old friends from when he lived there and this home worked perfectly for us to bring him and mom down from Michigan to do so ! "A perfect getaway! We were in town for a wedding, and were so glad we chose this cottage over a hotel. The views of the water and the sun setting were the icing on the cake. It was clean, comfortable, plenty of dishes if you want to whip up a gourmet meal. I wish we had time to use the dock and campfire area, but will for sure next time we are out there. Plenty of wild life to see, just be careful driving at night! Kurt was very responsive and we will be back! K and J"

"Loved the uniqueness of the home. Beautiful view. Well stocked kitchen and supplies throughout the home. Only disappointments were the pool and the tvs. When we arrived, a gentlemen was putting chemicals in the pool, making the pool unavailable for the evening. We were in town for a funeral and really only had Friday evening to play. Furthermore, if we had not arrived at the time he was there, we would not have known to not use the pool. "It was a very clean property and close to everything. The only thing really needed is a doormat at front door and had no access to a mop. It rained everyday. :)"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was wonderful with a great walk in shower and separate area for the toilet. The lighting in the room was great and we enjoyed the huge high definition TV. Everyone we encountered, be it hotel staff, restaurant servers/hostesses, casino dealers or attendants, was extremely friendly and welcoming. We will be back when we can😀"
