"This was perfect for my 1 night trip. It was very clean, location to Disneyland was great, shopping/restaurants nearby, and free grab and go breakfast was very nice. The bunk beds are twin size and metal. I got assigned a top bunk, I'm over 50 and I wasn't too sure I could manage. I did but I would of preferred a bottom bunk. Since it was only 1 night, it was ok but I know next time to ask for a bottom bunk."

"This is a lovely historic property, close in proximity to Hollywood and Universal Studios. The room and overall residence is clean, cozy and welcoming. The host, TJ is incredibly attentive and a charmer. Refreshments and Breakfast is top-notch. All-in-all, a wonderful stay."

"We arrived just prior to midnight at the property. It was difficult to locate. The grass was knee high and garbage on the front porch. We had no where else to go. The patio was dirty and unkempt. The instructions were to not wear shoes, keep the temperature at 75 degrees, not to flush toilet paper. We stayed. Mistake. "I chose Sierra Madre cottage as it was close to my daughter’s home. I was greeted by Tom (along with lovely fresh baked goodies from a local bakery). The cottage had everything I need (especially air conditioning as I’m not used to the scorching California sun). The pool was definitely an added bonus. "High quality place to stay in an upper middle class neighborhood. Vivien (owner) was absolutely charming and friendly. The unit is very new and everything radiates quality.
