Courmayeur Vacation Packages

Just basic accomodation. My room had window but cant be opened, felt suffocating at times.

This place was absolutely amazing. Clean, comfortable and the service was fantastic. Breakfast was great and laundry is included.

Great location but hard to drive to if you rent a car . No parking on site

The service in main restaurant was challenging for breakfast. Waiting 30 min for a tea or anyone to take our order was not great, the coffee came out in 5 min. There were also events in the hotel which caused restrictions- I think we probably should have been told ahead of time.

The Montecodeno is a short walk from the train station and Lake Como. The lobby is at the street level but you have to go outside and up a flight of stairs to access your room. We didn’t mind the walk but it may be difficult if you have mobility issues. Our room was nice but not spacious by American standards (which is typical in Italy). Even though the bathroom and shower were very small, we managed just fine. Everything in our room was very clean. They have daily room cleaning! A very nice breakfast is included with lots to choose from. They ask you if you would like a hot beverage coffee, tea, etc and then bring it to your table. There’s a small patio off the dining area where you can enjoy breakfast or an afternoon refreshment. They have a large refrigerator stocked with drinks and snacks available 24/7. You simply let them know what you consumed when you check out. This was our first stay in Varenna and we would definitely stay at the Montecodena again. Great value too.
