"We stopped at the Chateau for 2 nights. It’s a charming place, furnished in keeping with the house. Was very comfortable and homely. Tim (one of the owners) gave us lots of information about where to visit. Breakfast was great, fresh bread, cheeses, meats, scrambled egg. Nestled away the property is like a hidden gem set in stunning and well maintained gardens which are a delight to walk around . The tennis court is an added bonus . "On the website this 'hotel' looked lovely, but when we arrived we discovered that it was in fact a 'hostel' type hotel with the TV in a shared lounge/dining room with only two comfortable chairs. We got to our room through a shared not very clean 'kitchen' with all the other rooms coming off the shared 'kitchen'. It would have been a nightmare if anyone else was staying at the same time, but luckily we were the only ones staying the night (we wonder why?) so we didn't keep bumping into people...
