"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"Very nice room with amazing views but they need to be up front that you park 1.50 miles away, take a tram/bus and the tram drops you off about 200 yards from the base of the Abbey, you then have to drag your luggage unassisted up 100’s of stairs to get to your room so be prepared. Notwithstanding this, the room had amazing views and staying on the island is very intimate and you are able to explore without many crowds. You have to pay for the parking (but anyone who visits Mont St Michel has to pay for parking). A simple and very clean yet dated/worn hotel with basic amenities. Staff are warm and friendly. I slept great and was able to walk to the bridge that accesses Mont St Michel (about 30 minutes to the island itself). There are many dining options within a few minutes walk. "
