"The young man that checked me in covered the details of my reservation. Expedia was not clear if I was booking a smoking or a non-smoking room. When he covered the details of the room he said smoking and I was able to request a non-smoking room. I greatly appreciate being able to change the room assigned. "

"Comfortable enough. No frills. Rooms have updates, but not all details are fresh. Some decor looks suspiciously 1990's, but it's 2025. Facility has either a damp smell or some kind of vinyl smell throughout. Staff is friendly and thoughtful. Place has a high top view. Wifi connection in room 115 was only good closer to the window. Good LTE connection on an Android, but not an iPhone. Location is crazy close to the park with the spring. For off season I thought the room rate was high for January."

"This little cabin is on the best little beach. You can't beat the location. The rope swing was awesome. Our boys were swinging constantly. I would recommend bringing some blister tape, to wrap their hands and prevent blisters. My only real complaints would be that the cabin was in real need of a deep clean and the neighborhood dogs were a little concerning, but overall you can't beat the river. . . "

Which is in no fault of the host, we wanted it to be a bit more remote than our regular life. Definitely the type of home and community that my wife and I would love to retire in.
