"We were please at the location. We had very helpful staff. Great room, with separate toilet to bathroom. Unfortunately no fridge for cooling drinks. Beautiful breakfast very reasonable. "

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

I wasn't able to confirm any details by calling the property because of a language barrier but that didn't bother me because my wife is French and speaks natively. "Beautiful historic hotel — excellent breakfast and quiet street. NOTE that there is NO elevator and the stairs are stone and spiral. It was fine for us but older people or anyone with balance issues needs to be careful"
