We rented the top floor/ extra bedroom too and be warned, the only bathroom is on bottom floor so just be aware and don't leave your nightime run, to the last minute! « Our stay was amazing and exactly what we were looking for. It was so peaceful. The sound of the water from the creek while sitting on the patio was perfection. Did not get to use the fire pit because we did not want to risk anything with all the wind, but we are hoping to come back and use that and the kayaks! The bed was so comfortable! Definitely cant wait to book again! »

« I booked for a few days during Christmas with my mom and I brought my dog. The property was easy to get to, the parking was very convenient. We were in apartment F which was decorated for the holidays and was so warm and welcoming - they even had a Christmas tree in the living room! We had everything we needed and more. « Liz and Tom's property is really amazing. 400 acres to explore next to state game land. Short walk to D&L trail and hiking in Lehigh River Gorge and 11 minute drive to Hickory Run State Park with great hiking. The cabin is rustic yet has modern amenities. It's a really cool setting with numerous clean ponds, streams, wooded trails, and open fields for walking or running, and for the dogs to run free. Camp fires every night. Very private. Our family had a great time and will be back. »

Close to center of town but we are all senior citizens so drove rather than walk the hills, but it is close enough to walk if you don't mind walking uphill to return. Also appreciated the off-street parking. »

« This place was absolutely perfect. Kitchen came in key when we ended up have some snow/ice making use of our leftovers. King size Purple bed was our first time on Purple and it was great. Such a great place to escape and use as a home base for our trip away. Caretaker was great keeping the parking slot salted and clear. Will definitely check if this is available next time we come to the area. If there is any question of if you shouod book do it. »

« Hôtel historique (19ème siècle) au centre de la petite et typique ville de Jim Thorpe. Chambre (Deluxe King) vaste, propre plutôt bien équipée avec SdB séparée avec baignoire. La chambre donnait sur la rue donc assez bruyante... même la nuit (passage des éboueurs, traffic tôt le matin). Accueil un peu réservé mais les cookies offerts à l'arrivée sont sympas! Le pub attenant est très sympa et nous avons bénéficié par l'hôtel d'un bon pour un PdJ américain à 7$. »
