"All aspects of this property met our expectations except for the bedroom situation. The property is listed as 5 bedrooms, but only one bedroom (new addition) has full walls. The other 4 bedrooms have open rafter ceiling which makes each room connected as far as noise is concerned. If you are traveling with other couples, this may not be advantageous. That being said, the location is great and the view from the deck is lovely. Jay is also a very gracious host. "

"The neighborhood is less than desirable but, the house is as cute as can be! It could use a few upgrades like a new can opener and more places to plug equipment in but overall, very nice and clean. The pontoon boat was not available and that is why we rented this one. There wasn’t any mention of this in the listing. The kitchen is very spacious and has many amenities. We would stay here again but maybe in warmer months. "

"This was a great place to stay. I can imagine that in the summer, folks who want to get on the river or sit around the fire pit would be so happy. We stayed when it snowed hard so we didn't do any outdoor activities. The owner was amazing. She attentive and responsive. The only issue we had was with the dogs in the neighborhood. There is a sign when one pulls onto the road that there are a bunch of dogs who live there, which isn't a problem if one isn't allergic to dogs. What we didn't expect...

"The house was clean and the kitchen what’s furnished with all your kitchen needs. The heated swimming pool was amazing and also the sauna. Our family was busy playing games swimming, enjoying the hot tub, playing shuffleboard and basketball. Tara, the owner was kind and answered your questions promptly. "This is the most adorable beach house, super clean and beautifully decorated! Location is right across the street from the beach and minutes (driving) away from Grand Haven shopping and restaurants. We had a tiny issue with the lock on the door (how to) but the owners texted us back right away and even checked on us the next day to make sure we were good to go! Such a wonderful time, this is an awesome property for a family vacation!"

"The photos on the websites all show that the pool has a slide. This is why I chose this hotel. Nowhere did it say that the slide is permanently closed. There are tons of tables outside the pool area but you’re not allowed to eat at them. The “cafe” is a Starbucks with very limited hours. The hotel was pretty clean but definitely needed updating. The water ran cold for a very long time and then was scalding hot. "
