The staff was very welcoming and friendly. Everything about this castle was impressive. Our room was roomy and very clean with numerous amenities. What can you say about the castle it's absolutely gorgeous people were wonderful. The history surrounding it the beautiful lake it's a wonderful place to go and relax. I do wish there would have been a snack bar closer but other than that oh my gosh the warm croissants in the morning Yes it's absolutely the best eggs Benedict I have ever eaten so bravo someday maybe I'll go back

We booked a king lake view room. It had heated floors, blackout curtains, beautiful art and the room was gorgeous. We felt like royalty. The staff was friendly and helpful in every way. We had the traditional Irish breakfast it was delicious. We did the falconry walk and boat rife of the lake. So much fun. The town of Cong is charming too. You will absolutely love Ashford Castle. The history is incredible and the art, bars, and restaurants are impeccable.
