Modern Renovated Apartment in the ♥️ of the City

This is Unit A at The Grove at Cherry, an updated tri-plex located in the Old Shandon area in the heart of Columbia. You'll have the entire 2 bed / 1 bath unit to yourself with all of the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

The location is very convenient to Five Points, The Vista, Downtown, USC, Fort Jackson, etc. Great for a quick weekend getaway as well as for business professionals looking for an extended stay.

How is so much comfort packed into such a small space? You'll have to see to believe. This isn't a large spacious home, but has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Netflix, some local channels and some cable channels (via Roku) are available along with a full kitchen, coffee bar and brand new washer and dryer. There is a queen mattress in the main bedroom and a full size mattress in the guest bedroom.

You'll have the whole apartment to yourself. The parking area is shared among the 3 units.

I don't live in town but am in Columbia all the time so there's a decent chance I'm around if you need me. But if not, my co-host Catie lives in Columbia and can help out whenever needed. We are both always available via the AirBnb app, phone or text.

You'll be able to self check-in upon arrival.

So much so close. Less than a mile from 5 points. Walking distance (0.5 miles) to the shops and restaurants of Devine Street. 5-10 minutes from downtown, the Vista and USC. Only 10 min to Fort Jackson or Williams Brice Stadium. Most of the major hospitals are within 10-15 minutes.

Car is the dominant mode of transportation in Columbia and just about everything is less than 20 minutes away. Uber and Lyft are also great options if you don't want to drive. And there are also restaurants, bars and shops along Devine Street, which is only 4 blocks away!

There are a total of 5 off-street parking spaces shared among the 3 units. It's first come, first served for parking. There is also free parking along the street.

Nice property but obviously issues with management company
The property was as pictured but is located right between 2 distinct different areas of town and closely so. This should be considered if you were to stay here alone. We had many issues that can all be clearly attributed to the management company, from a faulty entry code that caused two very wet and hungry travelers with no one able to help to a very large area of red hair to be found in the dressing area of one bedroom to a broken ice maker and then a rude encounter with those responsible for repairing of said appliance and entry into the property. All issues could be handled well or poorly and, invidually would give me no pause, but together certainly did.

Cute as a Button!!
Very clean, cute. Exactly as advertised. Nice bedding, plenty of towels. TV was easy to figure out how to access streaming channels. Location was extremely convenient to downtown Columbia, cool/hip neighborhood, coffee shops and bakery. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet location that is close to everything.
