Situated in a quiet street near the station. The rooms are a very good size but the whole hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment - indeed we were informed that this is going to happen later in the year.

Good location. Room well furnished. Helpful staff. Easy parking. Dark streets around. Cafeteria doubled up at night as restaurant but it was run as an independent concession. When I tried to get a table, I was told I needed reservations, even though half of the tables were empty. Thus, we had to go elsewhere.

The hotel is just a stone's throw away from Cologne Cathedral, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The only thing that would make it even more perfect is if they could renovate and update the room facilities. Other than that, it's a fantastic place to stay!

Staffs were all kind and quick to respond, but the elevators were not working properly, the room door required significant power to close, the towels and teabags were not replaced during the housekeeping, and AC was noisy. I will tolerate all of them if this was a budget hotel, but the price range is close to Hilton. I feel sorry for great staffs, but seriously bad value for money.
