"I stayed five nights at Nirvana in mid-April. It’s a great place to stay in Placencia. It’s centrally located in the village and is an easy walk to bars, restaurants, shopping, and the dock from which many excursions depart. I had a first-floor unit with plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and very nice porch. The beach is right outside the front door of the unit. There is a light breakfast on the roof each morning and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I’m already thinking about staying at Nirvana again. "

"The Ellysian was a fantastic stay for our family of 4. It is a great location - beachfront and a nice enough deep pool. The staff are exceptional - super friendly and helpful. They really stood out as soooooo nice! The location is great - walk to everything. The room was also very clean and appointed well with plenty of towels, fridge, microwave... even though we brought our own toiletries, my kids loved the hotels shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The restaurant is also quite good. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay in the seafront villa at Jaguar Reef. All of the staff we encountered were great. It was very nice that you were able to schedule your housekeeping anytime between 8am - 8pm as to not interrupt your day. Julio was great making sure we were well cared for, whether it was a room service order, or a maintenance request, he was responsive on WhatsApps within minutes. My husband and I enjoyed a great, relaxing 5 nights at Jaguar Reef and plan on returning again in December. This was our first time in Hopkins Belize but certainly won't be our last!"
