Beautiful cabin with beautiful woods in the back. The cabin appeared clean but dishes and pans seemed dusty so I had to rinse everything I used first. Bedding and towels were clean but didn't feel fresh. Went back to check the reviews because I thought I remembered seeing that the house was well stocked as essential items were missing. When I went back today to look (yes several reviews did say that), I noticed the price of the cabin dropped SIGNIFICANTLY per night for the next few months, which was really disappointing, and i am pretty salty about. There was no oil to cook with and the coffee smelled stale. For such a pricey cabin, I would have also appreciated better body soap (they provided miniature wrapped bars). There was no shampoo and conditioner, lotion, or tissues. The smoke detector started chirping the first night we were there but stopped the next day, so I didn't call. It started chirping again the second night lol. There were lots of games to play and the hot tub was nice. The town was cute and I met the mayor, but every restaurant we went to ran out of food, so eat as early as possible. We finally got in to Mad Jack's on Sunday and it was great. We were visited by elk, deer, a skunk, and even a small family of horses. The animals and hot tub were the highlight of the trip. Again, cabin was beautiful, but everything inside felt dusty. I expected better for the price we paid per night.
