There were few mosquitos while I was there. I noticed instead more bees, butterflies, and dragonflies (which eat mosquitos to my knowledge). "We had a wonderful stay at the Sharbot Lake House. We were a bit weary when we first pulled up - the house is right next to a shoddy looking garage and a marina - but the owners have done a great job with privacy fencing and you really don’t notice it at all once on the property. The marina was also very quiet, and didn’t pose a problem at all. There are a LOT of weeds in the water, making it unswimmable from the dock, but we’d paddle out a ways and have great swims in the deep, warm water. The...

"We had a great vacation at this cottage! The cottage and property are very nice. It is very well equipped inside and out. The hosts were very helpful. There were lots of places for little kids to play and lots for them to do. There is a small play structure, swing and small beach area. There is a water table and play house on the deck.
