"The unit had a very strong chemical smell when we arrived - maybe just strong chemicals needed from previous dogs (?). It disappeared after time and we got a spray and candle to combat the smell and then it was fine. The dog door and fenced back yard was great and made it easy. Not fancy but overall good when traveling with a pet."
