"Good place to stay"

"The room was clean and the mattress was fantastic. Being so close to a pub we had concerns that it would be noisy but the room was well insulated and we enjoyed an unbroken nights sleep. The only downside was the room was very dated and could use a good overhaul. Saying that, I would stay there again. "

"The older gentleman that showed us to our room was very nice & polite, although could not get fan to work.. Waa close to the function we were attending.. Only downside to our stay was the cranky lady cleaning the pool demanding that the outside light get switched off, even after I explained that the gentleman had switched it on & told us to leave it on as we were leaving for our function in daylight, he didn’t want us forgetting to switch it on for our return. .. "The bathroom could do with a scrub as a lot of mould on the grout, smears of something on walls. Old mattresses in full brow when driving in and old junk. Seemed there were long term stayers living there? Old and run down. Sheets of plastic out the back of our room, it was raining and dripping was keeping us awake most of the night. Wouldn’t stay again 😕"
