"We enjoyed our 1-night stay at The Plantation Resort. Staff was very nice and helpful. The pool was relaxing and the bar Manager, Shelly, poured delicious margaritas! Shelly was super sweet. We loved swimming with the manatees in Crystal River and we hope the staff is safe from the recent hurricane. This is an older property, but our room and bathroom was clean, had a mini-fridge, and we ate a delicious breakfast the next day on property. "

"Each January we travel to Crystal River with a group of 14 women to swim with the Florida manatees. Its a high energy week and finding the right place to " call home" is really important. "Tranquil is an apt description of this property. The cottage itself is charming, and the neighborhood is peaceful. The back door of the cottage opens onto a patio and then a canal. The great thing about this canal is that there is forest on the other side of the water. The water is clear. The mullets were easy to see (but harder to catch). It was the perfect two night getaway for us. "
