"This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. Even offered to check on us if we needed it. The house itself was cozy and well kept. We had the pleasure of having a nice dog hang out outside our door. We did run into some issues back home that caused us to have to leave early. The owner was very kind and even offered us a deal so our money wasn't going to be...
"A small group of modern appartments in a rural location with a great pool and stunning views. 20 min walk from village with good restaurants and shops. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Going breakfast available.
The walk back from the village is steep but a taxi was 5 Euros. If you get the exact Google Maps location it is not difficult to find. "
"This property is a hidden gem in you want to visit the sites in the area. Much better than staying in the city as it's gorgeous, comfortable, spacious property with terrific value for dollar. "
"Great place in the mountains, basic room, comfortable bed, needs some brush up - feels a bit old - broken mountings in bathroom - overall good value for money, friendly staff, excellent food, quiet room. Would come back"
"The staff were great and doing their best, but the place is just rundown and not well-maintained. Our air conditioning unit wasn’t working so they moved us rooms and the second one wasn’t working very well either. The pool and pool bar area are wonderful and right on the beach, but they close at 6 PM- really don’t understand that when it’s one of the nicest aspects of the place. Our goal was to visit the Knossos palace and catch our morning ferry- if we had to do it again, we would stay in...
"Amazing, lovely staff who were so kind and looked after us all week - we enjoyed lots of the restaurants around the hotel, but the hotel's own bar and restaurant were the best for both dinner and breakfast!
Very convenient placement being right next to the beach and a nice resort area outside of hereklion, but hereklion itself felt mildly unsafe and had lots of issues with restaurants in the city centre - could not fault the hotel themselves for anything!
Amazing hotel AC and cool pool was a...
"Such a welcome! The people running this hotel are very friendly. I visited end of October with my 10y daughter. She could play in the kids club twice a day (except Wednesday) and has a little kids disco in the evening. There isn’t much to do in the resort so this is a ‘quiet, relaxing holiday’ the beach area behind the hotel was lovely. If you want any ‘life’ Heraklion is 15min cab away for €14 with lots of shops and restaurants. I loved this holiday. "
"This was the loveliest place we stayed. It's rural and the views are amazing. It is simple, quiet and relaxing and the staff are amazing and really made our stay special. They have a small menu for guests and the food is EXCELLENT! We will stay here again even longer next time we are in Crete."
"Very friendly and helpful staff. Modern apartment with two balconies with a view of the mountains. Grocery store and Jumbo two streets down. Bus stop very close with buses taking you to Old Town and Amadoura beach. You can walk to Koules Fort and the Old Town by walking along the ocean too! I highly recommend this apart-hotel for a short or long stay for its great location, excellent staff and very comfortable furniture."

"Good sized room. Very clean. Close to restaurants, shopping. Exactly where you want to be in the city center. Fresh, hot and tasty breakfast options. Helpful and friendly staff. We would most definitely return."
"We traveled as a family: two of us and our 1.5-year-old. The room we stayed in was spacious. The beds were relatively comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The biggest treat was the view. We had a room on the fourth floor with a spectacular view of the bay and the sea beyond. Breakfast was served on the top floor, and the dining area also had a spectacular view of the sea. The breakfast options were some of the best we experienced, including self-made Greek coffee and a self-assembled traditional Cretan meal, a hand juicer to make your own fresh orange juice an loads of other options for food and drinks.
In January, the room was a little chilly and slightly humid, and this was an unpleasant combination. But thankfully the heating element worked well enough, and we made it fairly comfortable in the end.
The staff were very friendly. There is a small tea/coffee bar on the ground floor which needs to be serviced by the concierge. There is no tea kettle in the room itself! This was probably the only downside for our stay since we would have liked to warm up some of the water for our daughter or had the ability to make tea ourselves.
Lastly, there is a laundry business just a few steps away from the hotel. The man who runs the business dropped off our clean laundry at the hotel. So, keep this option in mind as you travel.
As a whole, this hotel was excellent. Get a room with a sea view. It is worth it."
"Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional! Having enjoyed several all-inclusive holidays in the past, we can confidently say this one stands out as the best by far.
The variety of food options was simply incredible—there was so much to choose from that we were spoiled for choice! From an abundance of healthy dishes to excellent vegetarian options, every meal was a delight.
Our room was immaculate, chic, and beautifully decorated, with a spacious and modern bathroom that exceeded our expectations. Housekeeping ensured our room was spotless every day, always adding a personal touch with their care and attentiveness.
The restaurants provided top-notch service alongside an impressive selection of dishes. Every meal felt like a special occasion, leaving us consistently impressed.
The hotel’s location by the sea was breathtaking. Sipping expertly crafted cocktails on the beach while enjoying the serene views was an absolute highlight. The pizza and burger station added a fun and convenient touch that we absolutely loved.
If we could give this hotel more than 10 stars, we absolutely would! We're already planning to explore another Mitsis hotel in the future, thanks to this unforgettable experience.
A heartfelt thank-you to the entire team for making our stay so remarkable. If we return to Crete, there’s no question—we’ll be back to stay with you again!"

"My husband and I have both traveled internationally but neither of us have ever experienced the type of gracious and considerate hotel staff. Each and every one we encountered was amazing. This was really proven when my husband, who has heart problems, had to be taken to the hospital. They arranged a car to take me (while my husband was in the ambulance) and deliver both of us back home upon release.
This was our first visit to Crete, for our 30th anniversary and we could not have been more pleased with our accommodations. "
