Sunset Bay Villas on Chincoteague Island Welcomes Bird Watchers, Nature and Beach Lovers! Designer condo that is on the shore of Chincoteague Bay with direct views of the Intracoastal Waterway, Chincoteague Channel, Chincoteague Bridge, Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island and Marsh Island . From this unit you will enjoy sunrises, magnificent sunsets, waterfowl, dolphins, bald eagle which are all part of the natural beauty on Chincoteague Island. The designer kitchen has beautiful bronze fixtures with upgraded cabinetry, tile back splash, gorgeous appliances plus lighting on dimmers to set the mood - Antique Mahogany Duncan Phyfe Dining Table with leaf for expansion to seat 8 for family dining - enjoy water view dining with large nine foot window by table. In the Master Bedroom there is a nine foot window overlooking the water plus large slider onto the deck, oversized windows overlooking the water in both second and third bedroom as well. In addition there are two large slider doors in the living room overlooking the water. Direct water views in every bedroom room of this condo as well as the dining and living room areas. We truly enjoyed our time at Sunset Villas and when visiting Chincoteague we will always book this condo!! Beautiful sunrise and sunset views of the bay from the porch & master bedroom. Well stocked kitchen with a large dining table. Easily accessible with elevator or stairs. Porch furniture is minimal with no cushions for the2 wrought iron chairs….the pool area & gym are convenient to condo. Able to walk to dining & shops. The condos host was always available and even texted us about an upcoming rocket launch. This is a GEM!

Great place to relax and enjoy
Unit was clean and quiet with beautiful views to the north and west. We could watch the sun set every evening and also got to watch dolphins swimming in the channel a couple of times. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. Also used the swimming pool a couple of times (Hurricane Lee was offshore, so the surf was really rough at the beach.) All in all, a great experience.

Perfect spot with awesome water views. Guests are required to wash the bed sheets before leaving, which seems a bit over the top considering the hefty cleaning fee. Other than that everything was awesome

Cute condo on the water.
Our family of 4 (two adults, two kids age 7 and 8) had a wonderful time staying here. The condo was stocked and cozy. The owner was very attentive and helpful with things to do in the area. The porch was perfect for sitting and watching boats and wildlife go by with fantastic sunsets. It’s walking distance to restaurants and cute theater where they happened to have a juggling performance (the kids loved it!). Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely retreat on the water
This is a very comfortable, well-equipped condo that is right on the water. This is our third visit, the first in winter. The views out over the bay are spectacular. And the proximity to the beach and wildlife refuge cannot be beat.

The views from every room were simply amazing!! The pool is just a walk down the stairs which was great for the kiddos. We had a wonderful stay and bathrooms were very clean. We enjoyed our stay!!

Lovely view but doesn’t sleep 7, comfortably,, no WiFi or TV, Post-It notes all over, cleaning expectations too high. Not adequate seating for 7 on the deck. The owner was in contact but intrusive. This would be adequate for 2 couples and 2 children.

Beautiful condo with amazing channel views. The owner was very good with communication. We enjoyed our stay. There were a few small maintenance items but they did not detract from the experience. This is a VRBO and each one is different in terms of what is supplied. Even if you book through orbitz I'd recommend checking the original listing for details to avoid surprises.

Splendid Views
This property does have the splendid views it advertises as well as the desirable location. It is furnished more like a home than like most beach condo summer rentals. This can be quite delightful. As a small caveat: Families with young children should be advised that throughout the condo there is artwork and there are breakable collectibles that they may wish to put out of reach of small hands.

The condo is huge! Every window looks over the water. We loved the dolphins swimming by and the gorgeous sunsets. Plenty of room for a family or 2-3 couples. Communication from the owner is excellent.
