"Really enjoyed our stay at the State Plaza Hotel. The rooms were spacious and very well maintained, with comfortable beds. The staff was helpful, and the location was very convenient for us. It’s only a few blocks from the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument. Strongly recommended. "

"Was in DC for a basketball tournament at Capital One Arena. This hotel is a block from the arena, a metro station on the corner. Rooms are very small but every inch planned out. No fridge or microwave, get ice from the bar downstairs. Not a lot room to spread out but if you’re spending the day at the Mall, it’s perfect. Very reasonably priced. I’d stay here again. Super nice folks at the desk. "
