"The Boathouse is the best hotel in Chester. Great location on the River Dee. Easy free parking right outside our room. Its only a 5 minute walk into Chester if you walk through the park at the rear of the buildings. All staff were very curtious, friendly and customer focused. Our food was excellent. We ate in the Boathouse on both nights that we stayed. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in many years in staying in various hotels. We visit around 4 times per year in all seasons. Weve already booked to return during the Christmas Markets. Looking forward to the forthcoming refurbishment of the Boathouse. This will make it even more attractive. "

"LOVELY HOTEL JUST HAD A MAJOR REFURB. ALL THE PUBLIC AREA'S WERE LOVELY. OUR ROOM WAS EXCELLENT. DECOR WAS NICE. WE HAD A WONDEFUL BREAKFAST.. ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE LENGHT OF TIME IT TOOK TO CHECK IN. WE TRAVELLED BY TRAIN. WE NEEDED TO LEAVE OUR BAGS. PLUS THE FACT YOU COULD NOT CHECK IN UNTIL 4PM. MOST HOTELS IT 3PM. "
