Historic Tapoco Lodge

3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (411)
"We found the hotel quite by chance after our previous booking at Asheville was cancelled due to Hurricane Helene. We absolutely loved everything about our stay - the hotel, the location, the staff, the hot tub, the hiking trails, and the trout I had in the Tapoco Tavern was one of the best meals I have had during my time in the US. We live in the UK but will definitely recommend the lodge to our family living in Atlanta and anybody we know visiting North Carolina "

Jarrett House

2.5 star property
6.0 out of 10, (59)

Almost immediately the railing gave way and I fell down about nine feet with it over a sharp concrete ledge onto the concrete walkway. After laying there helpless in excruciating chest pain I could not find my cell phone to call for help. After over one hour later the only other hotel guest came home and tried to help me up. Kids Ski Free, Log Cabin Rushing Creek, Hot Tub Firepit Wood Fireplace WiFi A/C

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (342)
"We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. Leading up to our trip, the owner sent us lots of information and she was very responsive. The cabin and hot tub were super clean. The location was perfect as it was 5 minutes to town (and a Dollar General for basic grocery needs) and only 20 minutes to the Cataloochee Ski resort, yet when you are at the cabin you feel like you are in the middle of the forest. The multiple streams in the backyard were beautiful and our kids had a great time exploring. ...
