"Our second time here and just as good as first. Clean comfortable (another couple of pillows would be great). Hot showers. Easy walk to town centre. Easy parking across road (you need to pay). "The couple who run the hotel were very pleasant and tried to be helpful but a great shame we couldn't access the internet anywhere in the hotel, or indeed in a brasserie on the town square. Room was an odd shape and rather cramped. Bathroom needed some refurbishment. Quiet and okay for an overnight stop. Avoid the restaurant which was very reasonable but produced 2 meals which had dried out meat and inedible mushy vegetables."

"The staff are welcoming and attentive, I attempted to speak French and when in difficulty found English understood by several staff members. The food & drink quality cannot be faulted, the room and communal areas very clean, WiFi works well :)) On the downside, the bath has a tap with shower attachment but no shower curtain, water inevitably splashes into the bathroom and makes the floor slippy. There was a problem with the bill, additional alcoholic drinks we had not consumed, check your bill...

"Very nice property very convenient to the ViaRhona bike path with secure bicycle storage. The room was comfortable and clean. We were able to easily walk to a grocery and wine tasting. We visited Ampuis on a Sunday when there were few restaurants open in the community, but very much enjoyed the prepared meal (cold salads, charcuterie and wine!) the hotel was able to provide for us. The breakfast was great as well. Definitely recommend for bike travelers!"
