Close to Airport and centrally located
This property had what we were anticipating close to airport and extremely easy to find in the dark, since our flight got delayed. Located centrally to all of the sights and restaurants. We would like to state that it does have an eclectic array of furniture and decor. Both showers are quite large but primary did not have any cold water. Overall property inside and out does need some TLC, as the floor was coming in up in several rooms and caused a splinter even with socks on. There was several pieces of furniture with loose fixtures/knobs, damage to a couple of walls, painting was not done professionally, and the outside around pool needed lighting as it was very dark with only the backdoor light being available and could use some good yard work/cleaning of beds since there was alot of over-growth and dried leaves. Would hope that the owner will take note and address, as we did speak to her directly when she stopped by announced and she said she had been made aware of the floor concerns. It would also be nice if the front door light would have been left on for anyone coming to the property, especially in the night. Overall we would rate this property with a "C" due to it was as described in the listing and had what we were looking for, but just could have been polished a little bit better for the money we were spending.

Bachlorette Weekend
We had a weekend getaway to Charleston for my daughter's bachlorette party with 6 adults. The house was great along with the pool; and was able to accommodate all of us. It was also close enough to downtown Charleston and was a quick drive. My only complaint is that the dishwasher was not working properly and we found the dishes in the cabinet were not clean. Also, the sliding glass door does not lock and only has a rod behind the door. I would like to say that Megan & Tyler were great hosts. They were very quick to respond to all my questions; and I truly appreciate them giving me early access to the house in order to decorate before my daughter's arrival.

Really nice property, exterior was disappointing
The property is beautiful and just close enough to everything we had planned. The farthest drive we had was about 20 min to Ritual Nightclub on Calhoun St. I really wanted an oasis out back where the pool area was but honestly it’s just poorly maintained. The sediment that settled at the bottom of the pool was kind of gross so I scrubbbed it before the rest of the group could see it. By nightfall it was super dark out back, the lights along the gate would have been beautiful but we couldn’t get them to work.We were getting eaten alive by all the mosquitoes, out front and in the back. I think a simple treatment for mosquitoes, some power washing on the concrete, and just tidying up the area in the back would really help. For the price of the booking with a pool, I can’t really complain about the maintenance but I just thought it might be helpful as a review.

Really, really enjoyed our stay!
We had a fantastic stay! The house was plenty big for our 6 members. The house was very clean and ready for us (I greatly appreciated the air conditioner already running and cooled down house for our arrival)! The best part of the house was the accommodations and the local pamphlets. The house was equipped with EVERYTHING you need, they didn’t skimp on that! The neighborhood is quiet and family friendly, we went on evening walks. The pool was super fun and ready for our enjoyment! This was definitely a terrific place to stay!

We loved the house, the pool was a great hit with the kids. Loves that we had all the house essentials to grill and everything. The bathroom water pressure was so nice. It's such a a cute house we all loved it. AC worked great. I'm laundry was awesome. Thanks!

😊 Like the neighborhood, great hosts, helpful ☹ Disliked the mold, site needs updates, and host needs to inform visitors of a common bug, Paletto Roaches. We had our girls stay, nice neighborhood, Maggie and Tyler were very responsive to our concerns and always getting back to us quickly. We did experience a few issues while we stayed: Our first day we noticed the pool was dirty so they made sure someone came out the next day to clean it. We had Paletto Roaches in the house, mainly found in the Master Bedroom and Bathroom. Also two of us that stayed in that room had bug bites every morning. Maggie & Trevor did feel awful and had the outside of the house sprayed. They said its common in South Carolina, it was just hard for us to stay there especially finding more the 3rd night. Two of us girls slept in the living room. There was mold on the shower curtains and inside washer ring. Also Master Bedroom had loose flooring, trip hazard especially for the elderly. Little hand soap available would be nice to have atleast handsoap and toilet paper was at a minimum. The listing needs updating, along with the house, color of house is now dark blue/gray on site its yellow. Maggie did ask what they could do for us. We did get a credit of one night stay back from the issues we were experiencing. Thank you, although we requested either 2 nights comp or 1 night comp and move to a hotel for the last night, due to the bug issue. We just want to be honest with you on our stay in SC.

Spring break visit
Our stay here in Charleston was very nice. The property is easy to find and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Close access to all areas. The property is very clean and is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Host was very helpful and offered assistance on finding activities in the area and checked on us multiple times during our stay. Very impressed with our stay!

When i did not get the check in information from Maggie by 4:15 the day of check in, i reached out to her. She promptly responded to let me know that she just found out that the batteries in her lockbox were dead and so the email had not gone out to me. Maggie provided me with the code to her garage so we could get in and she had someone go over to the house right away to put new batteries in the lockbox. Once we were in the house, we couldn't get the heat to come on. It was 61 degrees and the vents blew out cold air. Maggie had someone come over while my kids and i were at dinner to fix the heat. The hallway toilet leaked and so we were able to let Maggie know about that. When we were getting read to leave to go home, we had to wash and dry the sheets. The dryer would not work. My son-in-law went out to the garage to see about the breaker. He was able to get the dryer to come on. We let Maggie know that the dryer vent had come loose and that vent had blown all over the back wall. The flooring in the master bedroom is coming up so Maggie may want to have someone take a look at that. Maggie did give me a partial refund for the first night due to not being provided the information to get into the house and the heating situation. She was extremely prompt and attentive to all our concerns.

Home was very comfortable and in a great location. Easy access and very close to the airport, only 20-30 minutes away from everywhere we wanted to go. We weren’t at the house much as we were very busy. The pool was very nice although we only used it once. Cleanliness could use some improvement as the shower curtain had mildew and the clothes dryer door rubber was a little dirty. A few more towels and laundry detergent would be helpful for cleaning mainly towels as there not many extra. All in all though it was a nice place to stay.

Lovely large property, nice quiet estate. Good access to Charleston, beaches,Plantation Houses,Walmart and Restaurants. Good communication with owner after a issue with foor mechanism but this was resolved quickly. Slight negative with some of the outdoor furniture needing updating/replacing, Airport very close which was a positive and a negative. Overall really good.

The house worked great for our family of 6 adults. It does list there are 2 queens & 1 king bed but 1 room is a full size & doesn’t work for 2 people, so 1 did have to sleep on the couch. The house is a work in progress, needs some updating. Shower curtains were moldy, we had to wash most dishes before using. Maggie & Tyler were very helpful in any problems that came up. LOTS of great suggestions of things to do and places to eat/drink. Pool was absolutely wonderful but the landscaping needs to be taken care of. All in all, we would stay again. Just a few little things that could be better.

The house was wonderful to stay in. It’s right by the airport. The host had great communication during our stay. The A/C worked great the whole time. If you do stay here, know the bare minimum is provided. You’ll want to bring your own essentials such as hand soap and toilet paper.

Very Cozy Home and Wonderful Owners
We stayed at Maggie and Tyler's place while down for a dance competition and while there were a few issued upon are arrival, Maggie and Tyler were very fast to act to make sure the issues were taken care off, and even issued a refund on our first few nights due to the AC being out. The communication from the owners was top notch and we greatly appreciated not only their quick resolution of any issue that arose, but also Maggie's recommendations for local restaurants and sites. The home itself is very cozy, with plenty of space for my family of four, and the pool was wonderful! Would book with Maggie and Tyler again with no hesitation!

No place like home!
Neighborhood was nice. Mattresses need to be replaced, were not comfortable.Exhaust fan in master bedroom bathroom made terrible noise and finally quit working Friday morning. Shower curtain in guest hallway bathroom had mold on it. A/C quit working Wednesday evening and was not fixed until Thursday morning, 13 hours later. HVAC Tech had to put in 3 pounds of freon. He stated he had been out 2 weeks earlier for same problem. House was nice but there is no place like home.

Great neighborhood in North Charleston

We came to Charleston to visit friends and I chose this location because it is close to their home in West Ashley and it will be our choice from here on out when we visit the Low Country because it was SO cozy. Great Property
We enjoyed our stay here. We were in town for a soccer tournament. The house had plenty of space for our family of five. My daughter enjoyed the toys/books in one of the bedrooms. Our boys took a polar plunge into the pool one afternoon after soccer :) The location was central to everything! The only downside was there was a mildew type smell to the house. Maybe because of the age of the home or recent rain. It wasn’t overpowering but definitely noticeable.
