Enjoy the owners recent extensive renovations.This comfortable home will look like a Pinterest Board for a dream beach house you will remember . Freshly painted and updated throughout. Navy and white theme with designer bedding and furnishing from top designers like Cynthia Rowley and Serena and Lily are just the beginning.
Pelican Reach, with its own pool, is less than a five-minute walk to the water's edge. This neighborhood is known for it's nice quiet wide streets.

Built in the traditional beach style, a flight of stairs takes you to the lower-level porch. This is where the kids will go to escape the adults, who will surely have commandeered the upstairs porch. The front door opens to the lower-level bedrooms. The master has a King-size bed, with new mattress, designer bedding, a private bath, and opens to the shady screened rear porch (complete with several rocking chairs - perfect for a quiet get away) The other two downstairs rooms (one with a queen bed, the other with 2 twin beds) are also furnished with new mattresses and share a bath. One of these bedrooms opens to that same shady screened porch.

Taking the stairs to the upper level, you are immediately struck by the windows, the light, and all the fantastic views. The open living area features a dining table for eight, a seating area for TV viewing (with a queen-size sleeper sofa), a game table, and a reading nook. The darling kitchen comes complete with everything needed by the chef, whether you are feeding your family or entertaining friends. A bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath complete the upper level. Except for the porch.

The high, airy porch gives you a bird's eye view of Wild Dunes. By night the sounds of waves crashing on the shore soothe even the most frayed of nerves, but the sunrises are particularly spectacular! This large, screened porch features a wicker pub table with four chairs and a comfortable lounging area with wicker loveseat and rockers - all decorated with high-end designer outdoor fabrics. It will be hard to leave this wonderful space!

We have tried to provide everything we could think of, including a free golf cart with each rental. We even offer Broadband web access for those people that don't want to feel too "out of touch". We hope you'll consider us for your Carolina low-country vacation!

This house is a great location. When we got there the kitchen had 2 broken ceiling lights, we were unable to use the pool the entire time due to it being green and not cleaned. Besides those two things we enjoyed our trip

Awesome location
The home was very nicely decorated and had everything needed. Made for a great long weekend trip while our so. Was married in beautiful Charleston. Love Wild Dunes. The beach was gorgeous and the pavilion wonderful. Highly recommend-one note be prepared to get your exercise in going up the drive and stairs. 🙂

We stayed at this property several years ago and we enjoyed once again! Pelican Bay is the best location for a family with the pool and places to ride bikes or throw a baseball.

Well-equipped updated home
We had 7 adults in the 4 bedroom house to celebrate an anniversary. The house layout was great for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking big meals. Loved the easy beach access & location. Hope to return!

Families Get Away to the Beach
Great home for the 3 families that came together for the trip. Every family had a room with bathroom set up, screened-in porch was perfect to keep bugs at bay, and we loved the golf cart for getting around the community! The only disappointment was that we were told no pack and play and no highchairs, so we hauled items across the country. When in fact there was a pack and play and 2 booster seats. Recommend revising your information to highlight that for families with young children, and getting a new baby gate would be a HUGE value add. Thank you for a great stay

Great location!
We enjoyed our time in Wild Dunes very much. It was wonderful to be able to walk across the street to the beach and also take a lovely 2.5 mile paved walk seeing golfers and deer. The house was very pretty and the bedding was so comfortable! All cotton, which we love. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and it had very nice appliances. Nothing went wrong the whole 10 weeks we were there! It was mostly the two of us but we had several family members stay off and on and they were comfortable as well. There are stairs to get into the house but we just looked at it as a little extra exercise each day. We would definitely stay at this house again.

The house was beautiful with very comfortable furniture & beds. The kitchen was well furnished. The only negative is the steep drive way which made loading, unloading & parking challenging. The house more than made up for it. We enjoyed coffee on the screen porch every morning!

Amazing Girl’s Trip!!
I booked this house for my 50th birthday to hang out with some of my friends. It is located in a quiet community, but close to great food and easy access to shopping. It is beautifully decorated and cozy. I had no idea that my friends arranged for a chef to come in and cook dinner for us. the chef had plenty of room in the kitchen and ample supplies to fix a 4 course meal. The home was perfect for a relaxing girls weekend.

Excellent property in lovely neighbothood
43 Pelican Reach is well maintained, beautifully decorated, has a great layout for a group and has everything you need. There was even a blow dryer which wasn't mentioned in the listing. We cooked mostly breakfast and hosted a barbecue and we had everything we needed. One review mentioned a lack of hangers and another a shortage of teaspoons. Both issues have been corrected. Beds, pillows and linens are of a high quality. Appliances are high end and up to date. A side note - the owner's restaurant recommendations are spot on - we ate at Acme (seven times) The Boathouse, (twice) Obstinate Daughter and 39 Rue de Jean and all were excellent.

Vacation 2023
We really enjoyed the area. As per other reviews the front steps could use some work as there are several uneven steps and could be dangerous. We rented the property for 8 adults and 2 kids. We discovered upon arriving there were 6 coffee cups, and some of the dishes were dirty. We called the manager then, and had to text the manager. When we explained there were 8 adults, she said she would get us some more sometime on Sunday. We told her we would have coffee in shifts. We sat the family down and read the extensive rules of the property, including grill rules. When we went to use the grill we discovered it to be filthy. We called again and someone came . He told us it didn’t work and it was against the law to have it on the porch, which is where we found it. My husband helped him put it on the steps. We then waited another day for a new one to be delivered, and my husband hooked it up. These are not earth shattering events, but I feel if you have an extensive list of do’s and don’t s everything should be checked out before arriving. Regardless, we did have a great time. .

Perfect Beach House - It Will Make Your Vacation!
My husband and I spent an extended Memorial Day vacation and our only regret is we didn't stay longer at this amazing beach home. As nice as the pictures are they still don't do it complete justice. The owners provide discerning renters with everything you could want. From plush linens to top-of-the line fixtures, upbeat and tasteful decor throughout,a screened in porch (very rare in this area) to fast and reliable wi-fi and reading nooks and welcoming spaces to hang out. You leave refreshed and pampered. The location on IOP is outstanding with a quick walk to an amazing club house on the beach. When we had more beach stuff with us we just drove over and thanks to the parking pass that came with the resort pass (provided with the rental) we parked mere feet from the clubhouse and beach. We ran every morning on the beach and took moonlit walks on this huge section of the beach. I was able to keep up with the office thanks to the wi-fi that also reached the porch. Breathing ocean air and hearing the waves does wonders for the creativity! The golf course is right there and the high elevation of the home literally give you a bird's eye view of the area. There is also a community pool that we never went to because the beach was so beautiful and enticing. The neighborhood is very quiet and calming. The kitchen is great for making meals if you choose and the rooms are gorgeous and the mattresses feel like you are in a five-star hotel! Also, the layout of the house with three of the bedrooms downstairs creates additional privacy that practically begs you to take afternoon naps. Additionally the downstairs screened in porch adds to the privacy and retreat feeling of the home. There is a long driveway with covered parking. That along with the wide, landscaped cul-de-sac ensures plenty of parking for larger groups enjoying the home. Arranging the rental was easy and efficient. The property manager was very helpful and promptly provided all we needed and helped us understand the resort so we could plan appropriately. Oh and the house is immaculately clean which is mind boggling for a place that is a quick walk to the beach. Without a single hesitation, I recommend renting this perfect beach house! The only challenge will be getting on the calendar so I also recommend booking as soon as you can!

Great spot for a family trip
We were in town for a family wedding and the space was perfect for 7 adults and 2 babies. Thrre was plenty of space to spread out but also felt cosy when we were together. There are alot of stairs- but that is the norm for every house we saw! Short walk to the beach and you could hear the waves from the patio! Also super receptive when we had questions! A great experience for.all! Also- the beds were super comfy!

Resort Getaway
The house was perfect for our family gathering. The beds were comfortable and house was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, bowls, dishes, etc. Comfortable large screen porch is nice for morning coffee/breakfast. It is a short, easy walk to the beach. Note that there are many stairs so may not be suitable for someone who is unable to climb stairs multiple times per day, including from the steep driveway.

Fantastic Family Beach House in Wild Dunes
Our family enjoyed our stay at 43 Pelican Reach. Great house for extended family—a little worn, but the location is fantastic. Just across the street from beach access so very walkable and use of a golf cart makes it even quicker to get there. We loved the use of the community pool as well. If you’ve never stayed in Wild Dunes, you should give this place a look.

43 Pelican Reach
This property offered a nice layout for a family vacation for adults, in-laws, and children. Upon arrival, we were a bit skeptical seeing the lack of the landscaping maintenance and general outdoor appearance and porch/carport cleanliness. The inside, however, was very clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils and newer appliances. The dining area and living area provided space for all of the family to gather for meals and games. We enjoyed the large screened-in porch in the mornings and evenings.The master bedroom and bath was convenient, private, comfortable, and had plenty of storage space. The other two lower level bedrooms had ample storage but are in need of mattress replacements. Unfortunately, our guests in the double bed finally tried to sleep on the sofa for a better night’s sleep. The main floor bedroom was small and had very little storage space. The comfort of the bed would improve with a mattress replacement as well. We so appreciated having the convenience of the golf cart for our many trips to beach and pool. Overall, we enjoyed our week in IOP and 43 Pelican Reach served us well for our family vacation.
