"This hotel is in an old priory near the summit of the hill with the magnificent Chartres Cathedral. Desk was helpful with parking info, and how to exit the restricted area before dawn, so we didn't have to tackle the steep hill after the snow started."

"This was a delightful little country hotel with gorgeous rooms and a good restaurant immediately below. The suite of rooms (4 were included in my booking) were beautifully furnished and great value for money. The beds were comfortable and the setting was peaceful. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"Staff are super helpful. Hotel is ok. However, I ordered an evening meal as I had a very long out and the hotel was outside the centre. I did get a short email in French telling me that there restaurant was closed Sundays two days before my stay. When I booked I paid in advance, but have been offered a refund for no meal. "

"Stated aircon but it didnt work and barely blew out air. The room was cool with two floors but we did find some dark black hairs around and the doormat wasn't clean. Quite a few dead flies in the room and on the aircon unit. The carpark had dog poo in multiple places on the parking areas, walk way and grass. "

"Having had to pay for parking to check in at the named hotel, we then travelled to the apartment. On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean. "This was a hidden gem we were so happy to find. Francois met us to let us in to private, gated parking and set us up. Our garden floor room was so precious with its huge bed and sitting area. Homemade breads/jams, coffee, tea, juices were a delicious start today, Shower was super hot and the largest towels were wonderful. We stayed two nights because we lived our stay so much. We were able to walk to dining and shopping easily. Secure gate made us feel safe coming and going."
