"This was a nice place to stay right across from the beach short walk. The staff was very friendly helpful easier to help. It was very clean had all the amenities in the room including ironing board iron refrigerator TV . Our room had like it was two rooms for a motel room one was one bed was facing One direction and then there was a law and there was another red face in the other direction it was very private very nice I like that feature"

"We decided to stay over here before continuing to San Fransisco after doing a tour at Hearst Castle close by. The Hotel is named after the Castles architect. It is conveniently located next to the main road, though we could figure out how they post photos of the hotel next to the Ocean, when its not. One can easily stay here longer of you want to tour the region more"

"Very cool and beautiful decor in the lobby/sitting room. The fireplace was cozy and inviting. Very accommodating staff. Room had a vintage feel, but we lacked for nothing modern in amenities. "

Beautiful quaint hotel

"Excellent stay at Casa Munras. Quaint with a lot of history but rooms are all updated. Had a King Suite w/ Fireplace and used the fireplace a lot! Outdoor pool is warm. Restaurant serves a very good breakfast. Parking is not free though. "

"We found the room clean, the bed very comfortable, the in-room fridge and breakfast included convenient, the fireplace nice for warmth and atmosphere and the grounds well maintained with beautiful flowers in hanging baskets, balcony flower boxes and potted topiaries. We felt comfortable and safe in the hotel location and enjoyed it’s close proximity to restaurants, art galleries, shopping, a small local market next door and walking distance to the beach for us who enjoy long walks for exercise. The only negative is that the walls are thin enough to hear a guest showering and sometimes toilet flushing in room next door or above. Fortunately, the rooms on either side of us were empty most of the time during our three-night stay."
