"The hotel is located next to the shops and restaurants at the service station. Parking is in the regular service station parking
Check-in was fast, with very little paperwork to complete. The room was large with tea and coffee facilities and all that we needed in the bathroom.
The bed was very comfortable and there was very little traffic noise.
If we ever needed to stop overnight on our way north we would definitely consider stopping here."
"We had a great stay at Cornhill Castle. Alice at reception welcomed us and let us know she would be available for any further assistance if required. I did ask if the heating could be turned up in our room as it was particularly cold. This was dealt with immediately by offering us another room or a mini electric radiator. We opted for the latter. The Dining room and bar area were also both cold so I'm not sure if there had been a problem with the heating system. It didn't spoil our stay though. "
"We received a very warm welcome by the duty managers. They were very understanding when we requested a later check in as we were traveling all the way from Inverness. Nothing was a problem at all. We stayed for two nights and breakfast both mornings was amazing. Thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. We will definitely be back when we can. "
"Hotel room was small but clean and comfy
I would say the only downfall was the bathroom
The toilet was wedged in between the wall and sink an kept catching the sink unit when going the toilet "
"Terrific place to stay. Well organised, well run.
Alan was very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.
There were nice little touches, such as facial wipes, cotton pads and ear buds left out for guests.
We had a lovely breakfast, great accommodation and had a really nice stay."
"We had a two night stay in a suite. The room was very clean and spacious with good facilities.
We had breakfast and evening meal on both days and were very pleased with the food and service we received. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for you, whether it was reception, restaurant, bar staff or housekeeping.
We would recommend this hotel. "
"Clean and comfortable, good shower, and breakfast.
Very impersonal though with little human contact. Check in is via a key box, breakfast was ordered by text the night before. Apart from the standard "brown or white toast" and "is everything ok?" at breakfast, no one from the B&B spoke."

"I arrived late from the airport and was greeted by friendly reception staff and even had someone help deliver my suitcase to my room. The room was a good size, very comfortable and had higher end additions such as fresh milk in the fridge and lovely bathroom products.
The spa was great. So nice to start the next morning with a swim followed by a tasty breakfast. There was a great menu to choose from.
Loved my stay and wish it could have been longer! "

"Stayed at hotel for a random one night weekend family get away. I read the usual reviews prior to booking which was enough for me to take a chance. I must say, the hotel did not disapoint, the staff were friendly, hotel clean and the grounds were gorgeous. When you travel with children it can often feel like your in the way of other hotel guests, especially couples who are wanting that romantic trip away. What stood out for me was that we didnt feel in the way, maybe it was the size of the hotel, layout or just how it was ran but the staff and guests were all so nice, the children were welcomed and the pool area was the biggest hit! We originally booked a double family room but were offered an upgrade (for a 40 pound fee, to be paid on arrival) to a junior suite which we went for, the room was massive with a living room for kids to run around in and a super king bed however the 2nd bed was a sofa bed, the orginal booking had two double beds. I think next time we would probably go smaller and keep the double family room but use the extra money to pay for two nights. As I type im trying to think of areas for improvement but in all honesty nothing springs to mind right now, the kids were sad to leave so for me thats the biggest indicator of a decent hotel, no stressed parents and happy children. Were already thinking of re-booking for easter. "
