« Funky little place, but clean and spacious. Nice big tv, and a WONDERFUL King sized bed. We were exhausted on arrival, slept like babies for 11 hours. As cheap as you're going to find around here, and each room is a separate little cottage, so it was Very Quiet. »

« Moonglow was a perfect little paradise for my husband and I. The location is close to the airport and Carmel, but you wouldn't know that anything else was close once you drive up the driveway. It's secluded and serene. I wish the weather had been a little nicer to sit out on the deck. Diane and Check were great to visit with. We had a wonderful time, even sitting in the hot tub while it was raining. So many thoughtful touches- handwritten note, a bottle of wine, and chocolates. »

« Very clean, close to Monterey. Safeway is less than 10 min away. Bit of a winding road to get there but nothing scary. People have negative thoughts about the bathroom, but it’s seriously not as big of a deal that people made it out to be. If you’re in the bedroom and someone’s in the bathroom, you have to wait to get to the kitchen, living room. Not a concern. We absolutely loved it and the host, Jae was amazing and quick to communicate with. Perfect for 2 people »

« The kitchen is well stocked with all the basics, including things like cooking oil and spices. The bathroom included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (the listing doesn’t specify this). The layout is odd—the bedrooms are tiny and the beds are really crammed in there. The bathroom is huge, probably larger than the bedrooms. « We had family visiting and a special birthday to celebrate. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. The home had a wonderful historical background, the beach that lay beyond the yard was enchanting and the house itself was amazingly well supplied.That we could bring our dog was just the icing on the cake. « The Sea Otter cottage offers a peaceful, secluded spot where you are surrounded by nature. Beautiful sunsets are breathtaking and observed from the cottage, the patio or the beach. Steps away is access to costal trails yet it is conveniently located to attractions, dining and shopping. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked.A wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee. Thank you for sharing this special historic place! »

« We had a lovely stay at the Forest Cottage in Big Sur. Everything was as advertised and the grounds are beautiful. The hosts have thought of everything and there are so many thoughtful touches throughout the cottage. I won’t spoil any surprises; I’ll let you discover them for yourself. We will definitely consider staying here again for our next Big Sur trip. Totally lovely and the hosts are so responsive and helpful. »

« We arrived to a pristine and efficient space in Hatton Fields just southeast of downtown Carmel. The homeowners built this guest house on their property and did a fantastic job of creating a cozy getaway. From the clean design to efficient use of space, we thoroughly enjoyed the four days we spent there. « Beautiful home! It was pleasant and quiet. Thoughtful amenities allowed us to stay in, relax, and enjoy family time. Loved the wildlife and landscapes around the neighborhood. We saw two turkeys on our walk which the kids were very excited about! Vincent was a great communicator and very responsive. We’ll definitely look to stay there again on our next trip to the area. »

« I am a rental property owner so I know what it takes to serve clients. This property was perfect. It was super clean, had wonderful amenities, a welcomed surprise gift, and perfect location. 3 golfing buddies and I shared the home. It’s the ideal foursome one or two night stay-only 20 minutes from Pebble Beach. Also it’s only 3 miles from a state park and expansive beach area. I highly recommend it. »

Charmante escale à Carmel-by-the-Sea

"Nous avons séjourné une seule nuit dans cet hôtel lors de notre road trip sur la côte californienne, et ce fut une halte des plus agréables. L’hôtel est idéalement situé pour découvrir Carmel-by-the-Sea, une ville pleine de charme avec ses petites rues fleuries, ses galeries d’art et son ambiance paisible. La chambre était confortable et propre. Petit bémol sur le petit déjeuner : le choix était assez limité. Cela reste un détail, mais c’est bon à savoir si vous attendez un buffet plus complet. Dans l’ensemble, une très belle étape que nous recommandons pour une ou deux nuits !"
