"Nice room. Easy to get too. Pet friendly!! My only negative comment would be regarding the “after hours” phone number. We had a toilet issue, had water on the floor, and the only number given was for lockout service, otherwise leave a message. Went to office right when they opened in the morning and a service person was there in under an hour to take care of it. But we worried all night about the need to use the toilet. Would definitely go back. "

"The Birchwood Lodge was a very nice hotel, clean and well kept. We were there for New Years Eve and I wanted a hotel close to where the cherry was going to drop. The Birchwood Lodge was walking distance to the Cherry Drop on December 31. As I checked out, I notified the desk agent that they should check the switches and light bulbs. I think some lights were burned out. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay! Very comfortable. "

"The ONLY thing I felt was a problem (and this is just preference), one of the beds so far was VERY firm (room 204, NOT good for our backs, I work nights and could barely move after waking up) and pillows have a lot to be desired!
