"We had a great experience at Carlsbad by the Sea, just wished the pool was open. Great location and everything was within walking distance or a short drive!"

"Easy to get to, great parking, front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was good, towels were very nice, better than every other hotel I have ever stayed in. Closet smelled funny but it was easy to just keep the door closed. The breakfast was supposed to go until 11 and they were shutting it down by 9:30, the staff was literally taking things away as we and other people were still using them. Coffee was empty. The waffles were good though. I also think it’s way cheaper to not book through...

"check in was amazing, we were able to check in before going to Legoland. This is our third time staying here and the front desk staff is always very nice and accommodating. My only complaint is the breakfast food was cold and the server was a little overwhelmed."
