"Alex, a young man from France, checked us in and was especially helpful and kind. We took his recommendation for authentic Cajun food and it was excellent. Donelle, the manager was wonderful as well, giving us a personal tour of the house along with many stories. She and her family were part of the rich history of the area, so she had many inside anecdotes. This is a special place to stay if you have any interest in delving deeper into Lafayette and Cajun heritage."

"We stayed at Suzi’s cottage for 5 nights. It truly was the best place we’ve ever stayed. Suzi was a very friendly, and attentive hostess. The cottage reflects Suzi’s artistic talents.
