"We forgot my aunts cat carrier and they notified us, also they gave us a larger cabin because we have a toddler at no extra cost. Summer, autumn, winter this is the only place to stay. We had to stay a half hour longer than expected and there was no issue. My husband loved the porch and the calmness of the location. There’s even a fire pit! A true hidden gem on PEI. "

"I stayed with my parents and sister in late August. The property had the perfect location for us, who wanted to spend time at the beach. The cottage was a great size and was quiet. The neighbors are close but you do have your own space and yard to use. We especially enjoyed the fire table. "

"A great base location for travel to NB sights and PEI. Provides a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Just a couple blocks to coastline tho no view from house. If you need railing to go up stairs, be aware that the railing switches sides at wide landing and has no railing at corner. Recently renovated with comfortable furniture. "

"Spacious location for 3 couples, lots of supplies, bbq, great water pressure and steps to the water. Swimming preferred at the more known beaches. Kayaking was available and close to the water. Lots of cooking supplies, don't buy too many groceries before checking with the owner or the cabinets yourself. Recommend Cabot Beach or Thunder Cove beach about 40 minutes drive. Suzanne was super helpful with any issues like propane. Recommend a "what to do cheat sheet" for some directions. "

"5 sisters get together every year to have a fun time. Cottage was exactly as described in the listing. It had all of the necessary amenities and the information booklet with all instructions for our stay was great. We had excellent weather for late September and explored lots of places in the island. "We enjoyed the peace and quiet after a busy day touring the Island. The Big Cottage is an older building with a cozy, rustic feel. Everything you could possibly need for your stay is provided. Just bring food and your personal belongings and you are set! The property is large, a long way from the road and very well maintained. Kids and dogs will love it!"

"We absolutely loved our stay. The house was even better than we hoped for. We sat on the back deck and watched the sun setting over the water every evening and watched the sunrise from the front deck every morning. We traveled all over the island and were happy to have the house to come back to each afternoon. We appreciated having the long set of steps to get us down to the beach. Thank you for a wonderful place to spend our vacation. "

We were honored to be the first guests and it’s hard to convey how blessed we felt to stay at this adorable cottage with it’s stunning view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets! We felt pampered with all the thoughtful amenities and enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing weekend. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! "
