It's the perfect area for you to watch the fish and rays play in the water, read a book or sip a beverage. Don't miss walking and biking through the beautiful neighborhood or walk down to your own private dock to fish or take your boat on an adventure to Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel or the Gulf of Mexico. The perfect day doesn't end there—watch the colorful sky as the sun goes down in front of the lanai while cooking a steak on the gas grill, followed by a peaceful moonlit evening swim. This 2000 SF home has a very open floor plan, yet affords privacy for all. If one group chooses to watch a movie on Netflix TV in the den, another group can converse or read in the living room. The master bedroom suite features a TV, king bed, attached bathroom and gorgeous views of the water. On the other side of the home are 2 guest bedrooms, each with their own TVs and bathroom in the hall between the bedrooms This is truly a home, not just a vacation rental, elegantly appointed and furnished with every amenity needed for a relaxing vacation. The home is fully furnished with all the amenities you need for a easy vacation. Linens, towels, beach towels, Laundry soap, bath soap, dish detergent, fishing poles, cooler, gas grill, whole home generator, etc, etc, this is a home away from home.

My wife, daughter, fur baby & I enjoyed our stay. This house had everything & more than you would need. It is located in a very quiet, friendly residential neighborhood & close to many restaurants. We enjoyed the view from the pool & was able to take advantage of it everyday. Ft Myers beach is only an easy 25 minutes away.

Beautiful Cape Coral
The property was amazing from the moment I arrived. Easy to check in. Extremely clean and very warm and inviting. The entire beach decor is exactly what I was looking for while on vacation. The house had everything you wanted in a vacation home. Kayaks, fishing poles, beach chairs, coolers, games, pool and lots of seating inside and out. I absolutely loved staying at Sue and Bruce Larson's place for my 50th birthday. It was one that I will always cherish and remember. I will definitely be back and hopefully have the joy of staying at their place again!!! Thanks for renting out your beautiful home. It was fantastic!!

Inaccurate listing description & poor property management
We arrived to find that the boat lift pictured as functional was missing the entire left support board and was completely unusable. I immediately reached out to the property manager, and she replied that the lift is not able to be used per the owner. We asked why that wasn’t listed in any of the descriptions, rental agreements, and why the lift was pictured as functional if it was unusable and they were aware. She was not able to provide any other answer other than we couldn’t use it. Their only solution was to dock the boat next to the broken lift, which I explained wouldn’t allow the drain plug to be removed to empty out FL rain water. I asked, twice, for an alternate contact number which she ignored. I also tried calling the number listed on their website and left a voicemail, to which we have not gotten a reply. Since we were unable to use the lift, we had to use one of the three ramps the host had listed on their welcome email and binder in the house as a public ramp. The ramp is not public and we received a parking ticket for using it. To which the property manager replied “sorry you parked in the wrong spot”… so basically, they were of absolutely no help and had zero empathy for causing my family hardship during our summer vacation. We are extremely disappointed in the host, and the property manager. The house was nice, could definitely use some updating. One of the burners on the stove wasn’t working at all and the master bathroom must be stuck on only scalding hot.

Family vacation
We stayed here for a week get away from the cold Minnesota weather and this house was perfect for a small family. It honestly felt like a home away from home, and our kids (3 and 7) lived in the pool. This house has everything that you need and some of the areas of the house are more updated than pictures do show. The only con was they had made the tub/shower only usable as a shower. But we made due! Just nice to have a tub for two young kids but we honestly can't complain. To many pros to out weigh the con! Like I said we came from Minnesota so we packed light. We went to the beach multiple days and they had so much to bring to the beach! Chairs, umbrellas, toys, beach bag, boogie boards. It was perfect. I packed sunscreen and aloe and they had some sitting there waiting for us. Also the location of this home in cape coral is ideal. You are so close to downtown and a short drive to fort myers and sanibel island. You are in a very family friendly area and it's quiet. You are at the end of the road and it was just so serene. Made me want to move there! Thank you for the wonderful memories.

Could easily be a 5 star property with some work
This is a great house in a great area and I would stay here again. With a few improvements, this could be a 5 star home. As it is, I give it 4 1/2 stars. Pros: Very Clean home (a must in our book)! Great layout. Lots of different areas to entertain. Would be good for large families or multiple ones. The lanai area around the pool is the gem of the place. Nice, updated furniture (plenty of it), large space, multiple access to it from house, great pool & nice view of canal. Comfortable beds and furniture throughout the house. Clean bathrooms with nice towels. Plenty of hot water w/good pressure. Good amount of supplies: T.P., paper towel, soaps etc. TVs in every room, adequate lighting throughout. Decorated nicely with a "homey" feel. Cons: The kitchen is the biggest issue with the place. It really needs to be gutted. The drawers are not on rollers so opening and closing them is difficult. The cabinet doors don't close tight, with two of them having a rubber band around their handles to keep them together. The contents of the kitchen are some of the worst I've seen. A mix & match of garage sale items. Only 1 small/med. sauce pan, no slotted spoon, no cereal bowls. The silverware drawer needs to be emptied, painted and organized. Who knows what was on the bottom. We cleaned everything before using. The fridge was VERY clean and made plenty of ice! Cabinets had too much "stuff" left from past renters. Who would trust that?? Dump it and clean them! The dock was nice and large. It needs work though. I pounded popped up nails as I found them. Lots of loose boards. It's still safe, just needs attention. We did not have a boat. Good thing as the boat lift only had one runner with wood. Unusable. Bikes need work. Flat tires with a broken air pump. Not a big deal for us so no need to call them. I did however email the owner later describing in detail what needed fixing. No response, crickets. Disappointing and would have hoped for at least a thank you. They want you to strip beds and do some laundry. Not a huge deal but when you're paying a decent cleaning fee, that should be on them. We knew it going in so we did it. Kind of a pain in the butt when you're leaving at 5 am. In conclusion, if you're not using the kitchen much, it's close to a 5 star property. The communication was above average once we got Nats number. I'm sure they would have taken care of some of the issues had we called them. Worth renting!

Beautiful, quiet home in amazing location!
We absolutely loved our time at this home. It was a relaxing, clean and refreshing house, with windows everywhere to see the beautiful views. We kayaked, swam, and rode bikes every day and the house was well stocked. It was very roomy with several spots to lounge inside and out. Absolutely wonderful hosts and we would definitely recommend to everyone!

Beautiful House!
This was an amazing house for the price!! Pros: - house was amazing with everything you need for a great vacation. - beautiful kitchen with newer appliances - furniture was comfortable - bathrooms were spacious and huge showers - pool was clean and well maintained - great dock for fishing or tying up your boat Cons: - Pic shows an empty boat lift so we assumed it was available but when we arrived with our boat the owner had his boat on the lift. Issue was that the dock is raised to accommodate the lift so had to tie up the boat to the dock with no cleats and with the tides it was challenging getting in and out of the boat at low tide. Just check to see if lift is available to be used if that is a need. - There are no blinds or curtains for privacy in the back of the house. Anyone going by in a boat or living across the canal can see into the living room and kitchen at night. In addition, the window in the master bath facing the front of the house has nothing so when you're in the shower someone could easily see into the shower while you're in there. We had to put a pillow up to block the view.

Nice layout
I absolutely love the house layout . Nice view from the kitchen to the back and the canal. The kitchen is well equipped. Quiet neighborhood. Plenty linen in the closets. I just would like to suggest the step in the garage should be repainted or do something to stand out. Some of us missed it and almost fell. It’s just a kind suggestion. Thanks again

We stayed with our 5 teenage boys for 7 nights and absolutely loved everything. The home was perfect and had everything we needed. The pool and deck space was so much fun for all of us and perfect that it was right outside the sliding doors. Our boys loved being able to fish and kayak right outside the house. We also rented a boat for 3 days and had the opportunity to keep it on the boat lift at the house which made things so much easier. Communication before and during was always available. They answered all of our questions and provided extra info about the area as well. We will definitely book this property again in the future!

The house and view was even better than the online pictures. We loved the lanai, pool, beautiful views and sunsets. The only criticism was the shower curtain in the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. It kept falling and it was difficult to get it to stay up. We can not wait to come back next year.

Positives: canal view, lanai, natural light, spaciousness of house, beautiful floors, decor, beds, central location, neighborhood, landscaping, coffee makers, communication prior to arrival, size of pool, pool floats, most appliances, bikes, kayaks, beach items, and garage availability for rental vehicle What could be improved, but wasn’t too big a deal: 1. Communication During Visit (I emailed Sue once regarding the pool cleanliness and heaviness of the pool cover. I called Bruce about the internet going out and the possibility of scheduling a boat ride. Neither responded in writing or with a phone call to me. I was not told what day the pool would be cleaned, and it wasn’t cleaned until Thursday. Additionally, we were not informed that a new HVAC system would be installed more than an hour before our check out time on Saturday. We didn’t mind, but it was surprising and left me without being able to lock up the garage as the workers needed access. 2. House Updates: Overall, the house was very clean, but there were noticeable older areas. The main bath has disintegrating baseboards along the vanity, the longer vertical blinds were of varying lengths and dingy, and the primary suite’s bathroom has an odd and significant drop into the shower. I ended up needing to use that one because my mother and aunt could not have navigated it very safely even with the safety bars. The dishwasher worked, but was older. The kitchen layout was fantastic with great views and everything we needed. However, the counter, cupboards and drawers seemed older and a but “wonky” (sticking drawers, etc.) We had a fantastic visit and view and location were lovely.

Wonderful place for two couples
Beautiful place, feels just homey, the kitchen window over sink is wonderful. Great to hand things to window sitting. The lanai from the seating , pool, deck where the place we spend our time when we where there and not sleeping. Location was great to a lot of great places . Wish I was still there. We all where pleased. Thank you for letting us use your home.
